Well, just noticed this sub-forum and I'm just getting the ball rolling by asking the obvious question:

Will you buy The Elder Scrolls: Online?

Personally, I'm going to wait and see first. Depending on reviews and the like, I'll decide when the game has been out for a few months.

Heck yes! I will be one of the first, I promise you that. I'm really intrigued to see how the lore of the world and the feel of the series will translate into a multiplayer experience, and I'm really excited for a chance to play with all of you!

So watch out, world. The s'wit will be famous!

PS - The subforum was created for people who will be playing and are curious...so...you know.

Not if my life depended on it. I haven't decided if I will boycott any further Bethesda releases yet.

If there will be a subscription fee, it's a no. If it's buy and play (like GW2) I will definitely try it.

I'm going to wait and see what people think of the game first before I spend my money on it. The only positive thing I can say about it so far is that I'm not going to overhype it like I did to Skyrim. But who knows it could be a great game and even if it isn't i'll probably buy it any way with the sole purpose of wandering around Valenwood.

I think they already said there would be a subscription fee, but don't quote me on that.

Looks like Avron and I are the only votes for Yes!

I plan on doing a sort of series or "Let's Play" sort of style review for the forums, for members who are curious but not willing to try it yet. I'm still a little on the fence. I would like to play it and if it is buy and play, I will most definetly play. I have nothing against subscriptions and would probably pay one but as I am 15 and do not have access to a credit card I would not be able to.

Nope. I'd love to give it a shot, even though I'm not into MMOs at all, but there's no way I'll be able to afford upgrading my computer to something that could run TES:O anytime soon. I'll be living vicariously through Avron's Let's Play.

I'm so going to. I've been looking for a good MMO for a while, and this may well be just the ticket. The only question will be how to divide my time between UESP and my homies...

Now, if we can just get Nanza, Deandra, and Eltee with us, Team Awesome shall ride again.

I'll get it if it's pay and play, if it's a monthly subscription deal, then I'll have to take a pass until I get a job to be able to pay for it.

Anyone know what race they're going to play?

I love Elder Scrolls to death, but I've never owned an MMO in my entire life. I can't say for sure whether I'm going to buy it yet. If I'm still playing SKyrim when ESO comes out, then no. If not, then maybe.

It really depends. I've never been one for MMOs, but all of that changes when the Elder Scrolls is involved.

For those of you who have never tried an MMO I would suggest doing the Trial of WoW or a similar free-to-play game. I had never played one before trying WoW and it really changed my outlook on MMOs in general.

I hope that--since they haven't officially announced anything yet--they're going to choose to NOT use a monthly subscription plan. Please, please, please.

Well, I stopped playing WoW so why the hell not?

Ed probably won't have the money to pay for a subscription. And even if it's free to play, that's just a turn off too.

If it's a single payment, you can bet I'll be playing this. Look out, Black Marsh.
