Do mods like this exist?

I did some searching on the forums and Planetelderscrolls, but I can't find what I'm looking for - maybe you guys can help me with that?
I've only played Oblivion for a few days, but two things in this game were absolutely awesome: the ability to poison your weapons and sneak attacks with damage increase depending on the skill level. I'm wondering if someone created mods that put these things into Morrowind.
Any clues?

Thanks Andere. I've seen the first one, but it was never completed and isn't stable. Unfortunately, from what I've read on that forum and several others, adding poisons to Morrowind is much more difficult than I'd thought. The closest stable thing I've found is Morrowind Crafting (which sounds pretty awesome, btw), but it has a very limited "poisons section" and only allows you to make a small numer of pre-defined toxic potions. So not exactly what I've been looking for.

TLM (The Lighting Mod) has an addon plugin that makes your sneak skill affected by the level of lighting in the environment you're in. It actually adds a whole new dimension to playing a stealth-oriented character.
I know, not exactly what you were asking for. But still pretty cool.

I don't think damage from sneak attacks should be based on lighting... I don't even think it should chiefly depend on the Sneak skill - weapon skill is more important here, I think. It makes sense - your Sneak ability (and possibly the lighting) determines if you can successfully get in range without being detected. But dealing high damage depends on whether you know how to use that knife and where to stick it once you're there. The Sneak "bonus" is already there, it's the fact that you can deal the first blow and that the other guy doesn't immediately hit back.

I don't think it has anything to do with sneak attack damage. It simply makes it harder to sneak successfully when you're in broad daylight, for instance.

Ah, sorry, didn't read that right. I guess I should give this mod a try then.

Does it have higher system requirements than the vanilla game (like graphic overhaul mods)?

I don't think so. Mainly what it does is tweak the Morrowind.ini lighting settings. It also adds scripting to all lanterns, candles, and other light sources. It doesn't do any messing around with graphics, textures, or anything like that. I'm using it right now on my macbook (running Morrowind through third-party software) and it works fine. So if there were any graphical issues, I'd be the first to know.
I'll just warn you - it's one of those mods that REALLY does what it says it does. This means that lighting will now be an element in the game that actually has to be taken seriously. For instance, caves without any light sources inside will be EXTREMELY dark (as they should be). So it may not be the best idea to go cave-delving without a couple torches or a good light or night-eye spell.
I mention this only because it can be a turn-off for some people. Personally, I find that it greatly enhances roleplaying, and actually makes dungeon crawling suspenseful.
Anyway,
here's a link.

No worries, let me know what you think of it. I'm only on my first playthrough using this mod, so there may be issues I have yet to discover.

From what I've read in the comments it looks like it interferes with some graphical mods, but since I'm not using any, this shouldn't be a problem. I'm only worried about one thing - one of my characters fights with a spear or a two-handed sword, so she can't hold a torch at the same time and you can't drop a lit torch on the ground, right? So she will have to carry a lantern with her, or make potions/enchanted items...
Hm. You know, I'm definitely getting this mod, even this planning for future emergencies is fun.
EDIT: I've tried it and while the idea is really cool, the results are not so great... I didn't do a lot of sneaking so far, because I tried it on my warrior character, but I like how it changes caves and dungeons. One problem though (and a big one) - the light spell and light sources "work in blocks", so to speak. If an object is within its range, it's displayed as illuminated. But in totally dark locations everything else is completely black. So I can see the corridor for ten meters ahead of me and then there's a sharp border between dim light and absolute darkness. It looks very unnatural, especially when I'm moving and between one step and the next walls and objects switch from uniform black to textured. It's not so noticeable without this mod, because there almost always is some ambient lines and the change from dark, dim texture to brightly illuminated one is not so drastic. Is there any way of making the transition more smooth?
EDIT AGAIN: Ok, nevermind. Found thisold post:
H8Ball wrote:lighting is BADLY implemented in Morrowind's graphics engine anyway.
Non-moveable (static) light sources "fall off with distance" correctly but moveable light sources don't. The landscape seems to be split up into square "areas" and light fall-off doesn't propogate correctly across the seams between them, leaving the seam very noticeable because the area containing the light source is lit correctly and the neighbouring area is still dark, even when it's only a few feet away from the light source.
That explains a lot.

It's so noticeable because there is no constant light value in the caves, so the stark contrast between the pitch black and the light spell ends up looking icky. You might consider going into the Morrowind.ini and at least putting some constant light in there.

I think I'm going to pass. As I said - the idea is great and I love how dark and sinister the dungeons are in Oblivion, but I don't see much point in trying this in Morrowind. The way H8Ball explains it, it just
can't be correctly implemented in Morrowind, because the graphics engine won't allow it. I think I'm going to play Morrowind as is and switch to Oblivion when I want to explore some scary caves.

Fair enough. I'm going to stick it out until I find some serious issue with the thing. Then again, I haven't even touched light spells yet...

It works fine with Night-Eye, because it just increases general brightness level, so it's not affected by those "seams" H8Ball is talking about. But walking around with a lightspell on or with a torch makes it look like someone is switching some weird light-source within the walls and solid objects on and off. Not to mention the fact that the seams between walls don't always fall in the same place as seams between objects, so you can have a boulder that looks like a black hole sitting on a brightly-lit floor.

Movable light-sources are just screwed up in Morrowind. I'm glad they fixed it in Oblivion, though, so I can have some pretty flickering shadows and sneaking around in dark corridors in my other TES game.

I just started playing Oblivion again, and I'm going with a Breton Witchhunter. He spends most of his time exploring dungeons and sneak attacking people with his conjured bow. I have to admit, playing a stealth-oriented character is far more appealing in Oblivion.
