Vampiric quests.

Hail
Now that I'm a vampire, how can I receive letters for the quests? Can I receive a letter inside a crypt/dungeon (since I can't go out in daylight)? Or do I have to wander around when it's dark, but since the player gets one letter per month that would be quite masochistic.
Thanx
