Mod acting funky

Hey, guys I regulary use UESP and I also used to use the forums and I think you guys can help me in my perdicament. So, I recently started playing Morrowind again on PC and I've run into a slight problem with my mods.
Anyway Bloodmoon.esm is now BLOODMOON.ESM. Is there anyway to fix this? Because I keep getting an error message with my game when I try to load it with that mod. And if it helps any I play on Steam.
I would post a link of an image, but I can't post non-elder scrolls url links.
Thanks, for any and all help and I hope I put this in the right place.

Unfortunately this issue is pretty common with the steam version, not sure why.
Of course, in a perfect world you'd just pick up a copy of GOTY.

Great... well since it's a common issue surely there must also be a fix? Right? D:

It would help if I knew what the error message you're getting is.
If I'm not mistaken, the steam version comes with both Tribunal and Bloodmoon, correct? Sometimes there's a "snowflake" loading error if you run BM without TB. It might help to check the load order to make sure Tribunal loads before Bloodmoon.

But are you getting any actual error messages in the morrowind loading screen? Have you checked your load order in MLOX? Also, what about running it without the shield replacer?

This is the error message on the loading screen. And it then directs to me that it's using the wrong esm. It's using BLOODMOON.ESM instead of Bloodmoon.esm.
It works fine without the shield replacer

So the mod isn't recognizing the bloodmoon.esm as one of its master files because it's improperly named. I don't remember if you can go into the CS and change the master files that a mod is dependent on...I haven't used the thing in years. That'd be what you have to do; otherwise, scrap the shield replacer.

Hmm maybe you could open the mod with notepad, search for "bloodmoon.esm", before the word MAST, retype it in the right way and see what happens?
EDIT: be carful about it though, don't change anything in it before you have a backup copy of it. Not sure what will happen, it's just what I'd do lol...

I just checked that, and for some reason... it's labeled as Bloodmoon.esm in notepad. o_O That's really weird.

Meh. And obviously that's not the real problem. Capital letters shouldn't matter on locating files.
Is there anything else written in "warnings.txt"? ("Check the warnings.txt for more information")

Wait, I got it working. I was looking around and found that Wrye Mash is great for organizing and cleaning mods. And I did that and it was able to work the mod. o.O

Yeah... well seeing how well Wrye Mash is I had better learn how to use it now. Haha, it says that Wrye is good at cleaning up GMSTs so maybe that's it. How maybe it was just the SteamClouds problem.

Wrye Mash is my best friend. It has saved the lives of many a doomed savefile.
