Vanilla leveling vs. Leveling mods

Though I've tried quite a few of the "fair" leveling mods out there, I still can't decide if I prefer the vanilla leveling system the most. Although a lot of people seem to swear by Galsiah's, I didn't care for it myself. I think the best one I've used so far would have to be Madd Leveler, though even that has its drawbacks. Any thoughts?

I only have my traditional view: I don't level, I play the game and get leveled. Perhaps I don't understand the issue, but I don't really care. 8)

Unless I've misinterpreted your post Andere, it seems I'm in the presence of a fellow purist.

In any case, I almost invariably lean towards vanilla in all respects, and I'm still on the fence about the various leveling mods - but I can understand many people's frustration with the complex and admittedly inefficient nature of the leveling system.

I always play with the difficulty on 100. Since I've been playing Morrowind on and off since its release (2002, was it?), I like to do things to make extra challenges for myself!
