Dear members of the UESP community,
It has been brought to the attention of the moderator team that users who participate in the Bethesda beta trial of Dawnguard have signed a non-disclosure agreement, meaning you cannot share details of the game with us, love you to though we would. Because we do not want to endorse your break of contract and because we are a morally upstanding and well-known community, we must report that anyone who posts beta details will be warned and/or banned and your post will be removed from this forum.
Thank you for your understanding! PM the moderator team for questions; you can contact us all at once using the Staff group button.

Also, sidenote from the Goofball, this applies to the Wiki as well, which means I WILL be watching the Recent Changes for any edits revealing Beta information.
Have a wonderful time in the Beta!

Can people post whether they have been given Beta invites? It would be interesting to see what kind of people Bethesda chose to take part in it.

As far as I know, it was random, with a few minor things they were looking for, most likely.
Oh, by the way, the wiki home page says that they chose .05% of the applications sent in, when it was actually .005%. Yeah, you didn't have a chance.
Neither did I...

I don't believe that violates the agreement, so I don't see the harm.

Can people ask the ones who got in if the beta is going well or not?

That's a fine line since it can encourage them to reveal details. I would say to use caution with that!

I'm gonna go ahead and say that people in the beta can give their impression of the beta, but cannot give details.
"It's totally awesome." - okay
"Dragonbone weapons have to be gained by eating 5 daedric hearts and then killing Maiq" - not okay

0.005 of the applicants = 0.5%. The main page is correct.
Edit: Any particular reason BBCode isn't working?

Not on that post, even when I edit it. Works fine now...

Still looks odd, like the codes broke or something... but only in that one post - seems very strange. I'll just blame Daveh and move along...
