QE2, how she measures up to Queen Vick, how long Kate will stay hot, why the monarchy is still better than Euro-style Marxist taxstopias, the celebrations to honor a millennium of repression at the hands of a small hereditary caste of foreign occupiers. BONUS QUESTION: if you could pick one British lady to replace the Queen, who would it be? I'd say Jordan.

Her soul has already abandoned that old husk, and (after the old soul was extirminated, of course) inhabited the dear Dutchess of Cambridge's supple young body.

Why do you think "they" eliminated Lady Di? Unfortunately for them, Di was, in reality, a 700 year old sorceress, kept alive through the very same rituals, and consuming her ancient soul only accelerated the Queen's own decay.

Now come on, this is a serious topic. It's not every day that we have the privileged to see someone richer than us celebrate sixty years of work in a fantastically cushy upper management position she got because her dad owned the company. Elizabeth may well wind up being the longest living British monarch in history. Let's be more enthused, Mr Spark.

In all truth (an odd thing to say since I'm about to delve into fiction) I'm penning a character who was her dad's best pal at Dartmouth. He's still around today. Buys his stuff from Burberry. Bit of an annoying [&@%!]. Then again, accidental time travel via a magical entrapment spell (Merlin beneath the rock-sort of thing) tends to do that to a person.

So NOBODY cares about Elizabeth? There was a time when she was the most powerful woman on the planet. She may still be even today. That's got to count for something, right? Everyone goes gaga over the Wedding and Charles bonking Cam and Edward VIII with his Nazi pals, yet here we've got a sensible old matriarch marking sixty long years of consistency, duty, and quiet dignity, and nobody gives a toss.

Besides, as soon as she kicks off, it's King Charles. So be grateful she's still in the game.

Never! Posh Spice would make a terrible queen. Well, she'd make a GREAT queen, but that's why it would be terrible. All the British people would love her, and that'd make David Beckham king, so... well, basically, you can kiss the rest of British royal history goodbye. Who's going to want to follow in King David's shadow?

Jordan would be a weak ruler just begging for a good, strong, clever man like me to step in and assume the reigns of power. If there's to be any chance for the rest of us in the Game of Thrones, she's the player we'd need.

I luckily have the honour to be a guard for the past three days. I love the Queen, and would much rather have her than any elected and populist President.

I find presidencies divide people, not unite like the Queen and we'd never have celebrations that we can all partake in for the President, considering s/he'd have to be of one political persuasion or another. But it would seem to me anyway that the Queen has more support than any elected Prime Minister, ever. Not to mention I am very much a conservative.

Though I am expecting some republicans to be infuriated by me.
