I can't wait any longer!

Does anyone know or have any clue?

Supposedly there is a big upcoming April announcement coming up soon, and I don't doubt they'll release at least some info about the first DLC.

There's really not much official info. Here's a link.

DLC that has actual content (ie, not the Space Sphere) seems kind of delayed. There's a window of opportunity for this kind of thing, after which people will be playing something else and respond to DLC with "What? Skyrim? I played that six months ago, done with it." Skyrim, granted, has a longer window of opportunity than most single player games because it's so enormous, but I still worry a bit.

It was longer than this before the first good Oblivion DLC.

If Betheada rushes something it's all "OH MY GAWD THE BUGS"

If they take their time it's all "ZOMG PEOPLE AREN'T GONNA CARE."

Know what? They're gonna release it when it's ready, and it's gonna be better than sex.

Well, DLC should be in development after the main game is passed onto the beta testBWAHAHAHA who am I kidding, Beta testers yeah right.

I dunno, I liked Frostcrag Spire.

That said, there wasn't really any content to Frostcrag Spire, it was just a cool house. Also, I had a hard time getting into Oblivion. I made the mistake of getting it for my Xbox 360, played it for a while, and just couldn't go on. Didn't try playing it until Oblivion GotY came out on Steam, and couldn't really get into it. Shades of terrible experiences with the Xbox version, or just the regular crashes, I dunno. It turned me off.

Skyrim I got into much earlier, and that makes me impatient.

Todd Howard made it sound like they plan to add in little sweet nothings in patches in between big DLC releases. The new cinematic kills/camera angles added in 1.5 lead credence to that. When 1.5 comes to the PS3, those beauties will breathe more than enough new life into the game to tide me over for however long it takes for them to release the first big DLC. Not to mention I can finally marry Lydia.
