Eons ago in the time before time, the gods created the Guardians. They were Aeris, Aqua, Ignis, Lux, Tempus, Terram, Umbra and Vitam. The Guardians of air, water, fire, light, time, earth, shadow and life respectively.
The Guardians worked in unison keeping the world in balance, but they were betrayed by one of their own.
A millenia ago Tempus became drunk on power and pride, he struck down his sister Vitam and became even stronger. He cut across the Mortal realm, destroying all who dared oppose him. Finally he was defeated but at a terrible cost. The remaining six Guardians sacrificed themselves to seal him away.
On the thousandth anniversery of the great sealing, Tempus escaped. He revitalised his former forces of order and set out on a new path of destruction. Within a few months the South, East and most of the West had been conquered. Only the fierce armies of the North remain and they are slowly being beaten back.
The Guardians however, did not leave the world without protection. Before their greatest sacrifice they bestowed their blessings on a singular mortal each. These gifts passed from generation to generation and would manifest on Tempus' return...

You are one of these Champions and are entering into the wartorn world of Karea.
Guardians
Ignis
The Guardian of fire and brother of Aqua, he excels in close combat and attack spells.
Attack spells- Fireball (A basic fire ball with large AOE), Ignite( A singular Enemy erupts into flames)
Defense Spells- NONE
Support Spells- NONE
Champion spell- Engulf (The Champion and his equpiment are engulfed in flames which boosts his attack)

Terram
The Guardian of Earth and brother of Aeris, he is exceptional at Defensive fighting and defensive spells.
Attack Spells- NONE
Defense Spells- Rock wall (Does what it says on the tin), Trap (A singular enemy is trapped by rock)
Supprt Spells- NONE
Champion Spell- Rock Golems (Summons two rock golems to attack and defend for the Champion)

Aqua
The Guardian of Water and sister of Ignis, excels at Healing and support spells.
Attack Spells- NONE
Defense Spells- NONE
Support Spells- Heal (Does what it says on the tin), Wave (A wave of water is summoned which pushes and disorients enemies)
Champion Spell- Water Tendrils (Summons three water tendrils that can crush enemies or heal allies)

Aerius
The Guardian of Air and sister of Terram, she is the balance between attacking and supporting.
Attack Spells- Micro Tornado( A small tornado picks up and throws an enemy)
Defense Spells- NONE
Support Spells- Push (A group of enemies are pushed backwards)
Champion Spell- Vortex (Swirling winds appear around the Champion which drags all enemies towards them)

Umbra
The Guardian of Shadow and brother of Lux, he is a delicate mix of attacking and defending.
Attack spells- Shadow Blast (A ball of pure darkness consumes an enemy)
Defense Spells- Smoke (A smoke cloud hides the location of the champion and allies)
Support Spells- NONE
Champion Spell- Invisibility (Self explanatory)

Lux
The Guardian of light and sister of Umbra and mix of support and defense.
Attack Spells- NONE
Defense Spells- Light bubble (Creates a small bubble of light that can be expanded to create a shield)
Support- Blind (A group of enemies get blinded by a flash)
Champion Spell- Lightning storm (Seven bolts of lighting smite random enemies)

(NOTE: The Gender of your Guardian isn't the gender of your champion, e.g you can have a male champion of Aqua or a female champion of Umbra.)

Karea
Karea is divided into the North, South, East and West.
The North is snowy and rugged (Think Northern Skyrim).
The South is made up of open Plains (Think Cyrodil).
The East is the deadlands and desserts.
The West is completely covered in dense forests.

Name: William Hawke.
Age: 22.

Guardian: Ignis.
Weapon(Use TES equipment): Ebony greatsword.
Armour(Use TES equipment): Full Ebony Armour.
Background: He was born and raised in the North and was trained to be a soldier from birth. He fought in countless battles and quickly became the General of the Pheonix Legion.
Appearence: Tall, standing at 6'1 and is fairly muscular. Blue eyes, pale skin and black hair.
Personality: Calm and a quick thinker but is brutal and efficent in combat.

All the characters will start in the city of Snowfall the capitol of the North, there they will be a refugee, a soldier or doing their job before their guardian power activates. The Roleplay will start when I get a champion for each Guardian.

Background: He was born in the north, but was raised in the south, where he became a farmer, along with his father. Once a disease swept through the region whre he lived, illing his family, and friends. He wasn't there when it happened, he had been in snowfall, and so when he heard of the disease, he decided to stay there, where he made a living feeding horses in the stables.
Appearence: 5'7", muscualr from working the fields at his farm. Long scraggly, greasy hair, goes down to his shouders. Has a sacr starting at his left ear, going down to his chin, he got his from an accident on the farm, when he tripped as his dog ran in front of him, and he fell into a rake nearby.
Personality: prideful in his own abilities, doesnt like accepting help from others preferring to do it on his own. Yet he is also kind, and compassionate, caring for the well being of others, even at his own expense.

Question is it ok if I have you choose my guardian I don't feel like choosing it.

Weapon(Use TES equipment): she had around 100 glass arrows and a glass bow, she has two iron daggers as a back up should anyone get too close to her.
Armour(Use TES equipment): Leather armour, leggings, boots and gloves, she doesn't wear helms
Background: A skilled archer of sorts, she's been trained since 8 and is a natural, she is light and quick on her feet which helps with her rather.. criminal past.
Appearence: short white hair, and a two milky white eyes, given her the appearance of blindness.
Personality: A rather fun loving youth and a jokester, even in the face of death she'll laugh maddenly.

Accepted and from reading the bio you've definately got Umbra.

Righto i'll be changing the Bio to reflect this then.

Okay and combat will sort of be like this:

This means Full health.
This means wounded.
This means heavily wounded.

And I'll roll dice to do the results. Everyone gets to choose their attack, but I'll only wait 12 hours or until everyone apart from one player has posted their next move. If time runs out I'll just use their last move.

I'm probably gonna get it in the neck from the mods for doing a double post, but I need it to be registered as a new post so my players see a new post.

Name: Poppy Seidon
Age: 19.
Sex: Female.
Guardian: Aqua.
Weapon: Glass Mace of Blizzards.
Armour: Full Glass Armour.
Background: A priest and believer in all things divine. She needed the gods after watching her parents slaughtered at such a young age. They had apposed Tempus, and had been turned into one of his many examples. They had been burned at the stake, burned to a crisp. She needed a place to go, a place to pray and something to believe in. The church taught her many things, the good magics of restoration and alteration; how to kill why still remaining holy; and one day she hopes for the chance to avenge her parent's death.
Appearence: She's tall but quite thin, skinny. Before she found the church; she had gone into a depression, stopped eating; stopped drinking. She found the Divines in the perfect time, but even with ample food, she still remained quite tall and thin. Her features are all very soft, and her bright green eyes match her jet black hair.
Personality: Poppy is very quiet and guarded, she minds her own business and expects others to do the same. She is very keen though, very good at observing and analyzing. Some say she's a bit loopy but if you underestimate her, you will wish you hadn't.

The city of Snowfall was in turmoil, it had been constantly assaulted by The forces of Tempus so the high king sent the Phoenix Legion, led by the young General William Hawke to defend her. The legion had arrived barely two days ago and had immediately set about defending the city.

William stood atop one of the battlements surveying the surroundings.
"We need to dig a moat around the city, fill it with tar and we can use it to burn those damn soldiers!" He shouted giving orders, "I want to reinforce these gates as well, gather as much spare wood as possible, Snowfall will not fall under my watch."

The sunrise marked another day for Poppy Seidon and she was up bright and early; like always. A breakfast of porridge was the usual meal, spiced with a wee bit of sugar. She had her eyes transfixed on the letters of a book as she fed herself spoonfuls with the other hand. Church would begin in mere minutes and she always liked to start her Sunday's off with a little pre bible reading. The title read "Tempus' Reign" and after the days of stormy weather in Snowfall, it fit the bill quite nicely. He was a subject of interest in almost every priest's discussions nowadays, she didn't blame them. Passing her eyes were many dates but many tragic events too, one of them created just for the rebellious ones like her mother and father. That's what made the subject so hard to study, so hard to memorize; this god had killed thousands and yet books are written about him? She could never wrap her head around it. You could almost hear the yells of the soldiers in the pouring rain, it seemed to be the only thing people could talk about. Part of her knew they couldn't save the city of Snowfall, war and violence would push it deeper below the line of civilization. Yet she kept her mouth shut and after disposing of her dishes, sped right to the great hall. She sat in one of the front rows, among many others who received small smiles from the girl around them. But as the priest in charge of these regular meetings stood on the stage and spoke, Poppy only picked out certain words. Words like "downfall" or "fear" were the ones that pushed the thought of death even deeper into her head.

William was tired he hadn't slept since the legion had arrived and that was two days ago.
We can't hold this city no matter how well we fight.
He turned and saw a very scared guardsman running towards him.
"General, General, the city of Hammer-down has fallen to Tempus," He shouted.
"Damn, that's barely a days ride from here,"
"My lord, how can we even hope to stand against a god?" The Guard asked.
We can't.
"We can stand against Tempus as he is not a god. Gods are eternal and are worshipped, Tempus will fall and is hated,"
"I'm glad we have the Pheonix Legion here sir,"
"Thank you, ready the people I want to speak to them,"
(( A word on magic pick my lock, is that it takes years to develop it and another three or four to be able to channel it, so Poppy's church taught magic will be very weak/basic.))

Lucio Chagrane was at the Guards stables, feeding the few horses that were left. once he was finished, he left the stable, and headed home, because he had already finished up at the cities other stables. As he walked down the empty streets, he turned his eyes towards the outer wall where the Phoenix Legion was stationed. "Wow. I wish I could help fight them. I feel useless feeding horses everyday. Maybe someday I'll be able to join the legion,but I suppose today is not that day."

Celegu was dressed as a blind begger, with a bowl of wood for coins, she got up two hours before dawn to complete this disguise, she had her iron daggers hidden in her ragged boots and her clothes were filthy and dirty, she walked past the guards barracks tapping the ground infront of her with a stick "will anyone help a blind.. beggar..?" she said coughing pathetically.

William ran to the town square and threw a coin to a blind begger he passed. Shortly afterwards he passed a man who had obviously been working horses and a female priest just leaving her house.
He entered the square and found the guards were calling for people to gather and William made his way to a raised platform waiting for people to start arriving.

Celegu heard the clink of the coin and said thankfully out loud "bless your kind soul.." she made sure to follow the man in a hurry, she doubled back calling out her pitiful cry, she used her stick to act blind, tapping the ground ahead of her if to check for people in her way. "any coins for a blind beggar?!" he called out faking a pathetic cough.

William noticed the beggar from the alley once more and narrowed his eyes- becoming a general makes you paranoid.
He surveyed the growing crowd and started to think of a speech.

Lucio noticed that a crowd of people was gathering near the center of the city. Curious as to what was going on, he turned back around, and quickly made his way there. As he did so, he noticed large, armored man pass him by and head for the platform. He also noticed a beggar, tapping around, asking for money. "I'm sorry, sir, I wish I had something to give you."

Lucio finally arrived at where the crowd was, and saw that the speaker was the legion soldier he had passed byon his way over here.

William looked out over the crowd, decided it was enough and started his speech.
"I am General William Hawke, commander of the Pheonix Legion and defender of the people of the North. I will not lie to any of you, the situation is grim. Tempus has destroyed all who oppose him and his armies march towards us. But that is what we are here for, just as the Pheonix rises from the ashes, we will rise from certain defeat and strike back against Tempus. Then we will teach him why he shouldn't have come back and we will make him pay for every family he's torn apart, every widowed wife, every fatherless child and every life he has taken."
William paused letting the words sink in.
"But this battle is to be the turning point, so I implore every able bodied person to take up arms and fight at my side! Please do it for your children and your children's children, anyone wanting to fight meet with the Legion at the front gate in an hour, thank you."
He bowed and walked off the stage slowly making his way to the church- he needed their premission for something.

Lucio, who had grown up on a farm, was well muscled, and had learned a little about swordfighting from his father, decided he would help fight Tempus. So he began walking towards the front gate, weaving through the numbers of families trying to keep their husbands and fathers from leaving to fight. Eventually he arrved at the gate, and there he waited, not knowing what to do next.

Interruptions weren't normal in the Church of Snowfall and yet today seemed to be an exception. A young soldier; out of breath and young, came bursting through the pair of double doors. He seemed to be unwilling to recognize the superiority of religion and had no problem interrupting the Head Priest. "The Legion would like to talk to the town! Now!" He was out in an instant, the echoes of his armor following him. It wasn't hard for Poppy to be calm, she had seen too much not to be. However? That wasn't the case for everyone else. Young children wailed and the elderly looked around in bewilderment. She didn't leave the building, her possessions weren't nearly as important to her as the ties to this city. Her parents were not important anymore, they were gone. She held a group of children in her grasp while their parents ran to hear the words of the town's defense. Here, she felt just a little safe. And if the new soldier told them anything, they wouldn't do anything to help the cause.

William entered the church and eyed the priest from earlier clutching some small children.
This is why we fight, so they can have a future.
He would have to be quick however, he had to meet the new soldiers willing to fight Tempus at the gates.
"I'm General William Hawke of the Pheonix Legion, I need to use the church as a secondary fall back point and I need you premission," He asked, "I would also like it if one or two of you could stay behind when people are being evavcuated to heal injured soldiers. I won't lie the few who stay will almost certainly die- Snowfall can not be held- those of you who wish to stay are mainly for moral support, if the men think they are being treated to return quickly, then they may actually think we can win, which is what we need to hold the line. Like I said I'm asking to use the church and for some to stay behind, and I understand if you decline, but I need to know now."
