Who is your favorite daedric prince and why?

Mine is Sheogorath because he is just funny.

Here is the link to the page

If you like pre-Sheogorath, Peyrite, Namira,
Meridia, Boethiah, Vaermina, or Malacath, just say so, I had to let them out due to too many options.

Meridia..who is not on your list. I love slaying some undead for a righteous, angry god.

Like Meridia you forgot Boethiah who is my favorite prince because Boethiah rules over Murder and Assassination.
You have 10 on your list when there are 16 Princes

Sorry it only allowed me to have 10 chocies so I picked of random ones to take off.

I might add that Meridia, while perceived as a "good" Daedra for her quests in the last two games, is also the person who gifted Umaril the Unfeathered with the ability to be reborn like a Daedra, and lent her armies of Aurorans to fight the slave uprisings in Cyrodill under Elven rule. She seems to hate Undead, yes, but she has no love for freedom, the races of men or the works of the Aedra either. A fascinating being to be sure.

Say some of your favoirte princes, and I may make a new thread with nominees, disregard the poll.

My favorite is most likely Azura. However, I also like Peryite and Hermaeus Mora. I would like Meridia more if she didn't wish to annihilate all undead. Because I am a fan of Necromancy and the undead.

hermy wins it for me, purely for his amazing voice in skyrim!

Meridia.

Azura of course. She gives us biscuits. Also you know she cares about her followers and helps them wanting little more then their love in return.

I go slightly mad whenever I hear that.

This should be in TES General - it's personal preference, not a lore issue. Oh, and probably Sheogorath. I identify most with him.

Not sure if that means you are creative or insane....

I take a liking to Mephala, Sanguine, Hircine and Sheogorath. But Hircine wins this contest because I truly love guardians/therianthropes.

OblivionDuruza if your favorite prince is not on here on Daedric Princes II it should be on there.

Since there is no Lorkhan I'm going for good ol' Sheo!

Well, Lorkhan isn't technically a Daedra outside of a mad man's ramblings.

Hermaeus Mora, because wizards and books.

Mora, Azura, or Meridia. They seem to be the most level-headed of the Daedric Princes.

Sheogorath.

Must I explain?

Nocturnal, of course. Being a thief and night owl at heart, I feel closer to Nocturnal than any other Daedric prince. She seems pretty level-headed, and doesn't seem at all to be the violent type, and the deals she makes with her Nightingales seem fair and decent, and end well for both parties; Nocturnal gets the service she wants, and the Nightingales get improved thieving abilities and eventually become one with the shadows after a finite period of service, something they view as an incredible honor.

All the votes for Azura are starting to make me feel bad for screwing her over, just for a AAA Battery for my weapons...:/

And Mephala, Azura, and Mora. Also, Hircine's pretty cool.

Hircine, his voice is [&@%!] badass
