"No more horse armour!"
Yeah, right. Still, nifty stuff.

Everything, but not "Flame + Raise Zombie = Conjure Flame Atronach". Flame + Raise Zombie could turn in a flaming kamikaze walking dead, but not in a creature that is supposed to be conjured from the Oblivion.

Kill Cams for Magic and Ranged Combat is only fair! Spell combinations sounds pretty awesome actually.

Hm, more than half of that list just seems highly unlikely in a TES game. They sound a lot like lore-breaking mods.

Intriguing. Basically the dev team went nuts for a week and cranked out (at least the beginnings of) a lot of content, some of which may get released at a date unknown. Presumably some of it will be rolled into DLC (including expansions). That way consolers can get some fresh content, too.

Excited to see these:
Article wrote: - Spears
- New follower commands for combat style, training, distance, equipment, etc.
- Set favorites for followers
- Werebear!
Heck, it'll be fun to see how many of these the modding community tries to preempt.

Perish the thought. We wouldn't see things like collaborative mod releases between Valve and Beth, porting ED-E a mechanical critter from a Valve game into Skyrim!

...you are giving Beth to much credit if you think that they care more about their customers, than they do about profit.

It's an Emperor Crab.
There are some carcasses of them in Morrowind, used by the local population as a natural shelter.

Some sound really interesting! Especially the "build your own home"! Although I don't really like the idea of a skeleton butler... I don't really care about spears, but it'll make for some new levels (thus new perks). The combining spells is incredible, I also hope they add some effects (a part from the paralysis rune). What's a high level draugr? I mean, isn't a Death Overlord enough? At level 81, with everything enchanted and at legendary level, those guys still kill me if they're in group and I'm not careful! Beth wants to bring in some even tougher draugr??? Well, you know what? Bring it, challenge accepted! But, of course, the dragon mount. Now that is AWESOME! I wonder if I can also build a dragon stable in my house?

I don't think the combining spells is so amazing: Flame + Raise Zombie = Conjure Flame Atronach, why do I need to find a dead body and give it fire, if I can conjure a real Atronach from the Oblivion?!

I can also combine any two spells right now, simply having them in my 2 hands: Fire/Ice (burn and slow it at the same time), Invisibility/Muffle (out of sight and noisless).

Could be nice to combining two different destruction spells, as Fire/Ice, still having the opportunity to use the Impact perk.

I really hope they will add some new effects.

Ok here's the main things I liked in that video and that I think should be put in. Sesonal Foliage yes of course finally, Kill cams for Ranged combat, Build your house Yes!, New follower commands, Adoption, Mounted Combat, New Mount's, Vampire Feeding, Snow footprints, Spears, Becoming a Vampire Lord, Werebear, and of course I want those stealth enhancments oh yeah! But I would prefer no skeletal butler I definently want to make my own house though. And fire and ice arrows should just come with the game.

This sentence says it all: "Howard prefaced this reveal by saying none of this content is confirmed, and that it may or may not ever come out for public consumption."

Typical Bethesda public relations: few words, even fewer facts. People, all they're doing is stoking the fanboy feeding frenzy. Everything in that article is nothing more than speculation. The less attention paid to this, and the less we stroke it on a public forum, the better.

They should be spending 100% of their time and resources debugging the half-finished game they rushed to release, rather than publicly pontificating about more content that will undoubtedly cause more hair-pulling bugs.

Some of those points are really cool and are thing players have been asking for since the beginning. I hope some of them, like the Horse Combat, will be offered as DLC, expansion,...

The title of this thread is misleading. It is NOT "New DLC info", but wild speculation from GameInformer based on an in-house experimental game demo.

very cool, the mind boggles, but i don't see most of this going into any dlc either even though it is a distinct possibility some could be included imo (otherwise why not just say none of this is going to be dlc, we are just showing how awesome the game is)- i think it's more a taster showcasing the potential out there for modders (and possibly other developers in the gaming world who might want to use the engine for a new game),

Also kind of shows up the limitations imposed on the game at release so a bit cruel imo, dont think they should have reminded us that yes i would like paralysis rune come to think of it, so why t f didn't you put it into the game in the first place

wouldn't mind spears or development trees for werewolves, and i spose they have always threatened us with mounted combat (tho it looks decidedly naff with rider dude faffing around the giant lol)..

definitely it would be cool to have a couple of these additions in as an update or part of dlc so long as my gaming unit doesn't start freezing up/crashing

and i do not want to fly on a dragon unless i can pop over to summerset isle for some payback, have had enough bonking my head off invisible barriers at the edge of the world
Spoiler:
i'd rather have them put the dragon ride in glorious first person cinematic mode in the main story than reduce dragons to a cab you can hale a la GTA

If they could add seasonal foliage and snow footsteps to the free HD texture pack DLC that would be awesome. Those little things really help immersion but certainly aren't something to pay an extra $10-$20 for

I think that should just be added in an update for console's too.

You have to contemplate how much Skyrim's effects, environments, etc. are already throttled down to accommodate consoles. There probably isn't too much room left over for improvements.

i do like the idea of combining spells, but they have to be careful

as redhead lover says, a flaming zombie does not equal flame atronarch

it's great being a console user cos you know what a millstone you really are to poor pc users  ah the guilt of casual gaming..
