But i dont want that this thread is turning into a Stormcloak-Empire discussion.

I picked the battle born for weird reassons, AFAIK they dont ask me which side I'm on.
That and then there is the guy on the other side who acts like I delvierd his first born while fightign Aduin and the Thalmor with a lock pick and I had to do nothing at all to have it, creaps me out a bit

Even though I'm in favor of the Empire over the Stormcloaks, I like the Gray-Manes better. The two head guys of the Battle-borns are pricks, especially the elder.

Apart from the Gray-Manes being Stormcloak supporters, which makes them instant buddies of mine, my first experiences with the Battle-Borns were both negative. First thing I see is that one guy whining at the female Imperial blacksmith, then he gets all up in my face probing my allegiances like he's got some right or authority, then I see the other two clowns badgering an old woman, and the one has the nerve to say (with infinite obnoxiousness) "you know nothing of our troubles" or whatever.

Battle-Born? Obnoxious-Infantile-Bully-Old-Woman-Born

Gray-mane all the way. Don't care about the civil war at all, but the Gray-manes more like an honestly noble clan, where the Battle-borns will do anything to get ahead. Also, the Battle-borns are mostly twits.

Battle-Born works for a living, Grey-Mane are a bunch of complainers living on past glories.

Making the best steel in all of Tamriel? Grey-Mane.
Selling goods at the market? Grey-Mane.
Beating up the Battle-born kid for his money? Grey-Mane.

The Battle-Borns are just snobby and useless. So whereas the Grey-Manes contribute to Whiterun, the Battle-Borns just wander around running their mouths.

I don't like either. But if I had to pick I'd pick Greymane (regardless of me being very pro-Empire) because I despise Battle-Born. A lot.

I'm Imperial, through and through, but Stormcloak allegiance aside, the Grey-Manes are a much more honourable and likeable clan.

I like some members from each side. I prefer Olfrid over Vignar, and like Jon Battle-Born. But the Gray-Manes win it for me with Fralia and Eorlund.

I'm empire through and through but Eorlund made my fave sword so I go for the grey-manes...except vignar..."when the empire signed the treaty..." SHUT UP!!!!

That question always seemed a little like kids demanding you choose a side on the playground so I just shrug and tell him to shut it. Why is there no "IDGAF" option to choose here like in game?

And then it turns out that his son is a dick too, who would have thought it?

Battle-born.. They are arrogant, I am arrogant. They are Empire, I am empire. What's not to love?

You have no problem ignoring it in game, but here you can't do the same?

Grey Mane, even Vignar isn't so bad when you talk to him some more and talk to Brill, Battleborns on the other hand are arrogant and like to flaunt their Imperial wealth too much, then the market scene, even if they were innocent you don't go telling an old lady that her son died in a worthless cause even if you're rivals, that's just low

Don't forget the fact that both clans used to be friends. Even low.

I prefer the empire (just saying)

but the battleborns have a giant chip on there shoulder and it makes me angry. Also the greymanes have the skyforge...
