PUBLIC AIRING OF GRIEVANCES: DIRECTANT: MODERATOR CAMILLE, "LA CUBANA"
I'd quite like to emphasize the importance of semblance of community, or perhaps the connection of community. It's like a great big web where if one part fails to connect to another, the whole thing just breaks down. I do enjoy that nice little social web; the spider that I am.
So, I do have some misgivings when certain strands of this rhetorical web fail to connect to other rhetorical strands. I mean, I may be the spider, but I can't connect all the pieces to the web. Just too many juicy flies! Anyways, when I see such a thing happen, that this rhetorical strand fails to connect to the other point, I get frustrated. A pigenhole is formed and filled with pigeon. A connection, that could've been quite well connected, was missed.
A missed connection. Within the community! If Active Member 22,922 could meet Active Member 62,122 in the near future, and it is quite possible, then it is an absolute sin if it does not occur. Its like going into an ice cream shop to marvel at the little stools at not buy a scoop of ice cream. Even if it is the kind that makes your tongue blue at least you got some ice cream!
Metaphors aside, the directant of this grievance has done goofed. Why, I don't know. But it's quite difficult to justify the failure of something when the chance of anything is better than a coin toss. Imagine all of the fun little pictures and stories of the community finally meeting up. Athe knows that this community could use an IRL meet-up, but if we aren't sitting our nice little behinds in Los Angeles, Nebraska, Brighton, or middle-of-nowhere Sweden, then what are? A couple of fans with a keyboard and a router.
Not fun indeed. I bet we could be quite the rousing meetup. With Camille making passing veiled threats and blatant flirtations, or choice members opining over the qualities of the Spartan over the ninja. Or maybe a squabble on exactly who spiked the cake with Vegemite or exactly why Monty Python: The Holy Grail is an overplayed movie, even though both of those cases are wrong, what does it matter!
It's the experience that matters! It's a great, gilded stud, riveted into the community. It is proof of community, a highlight of it! And, if we can't do that, then who can? Camille and I? Well, someone in that equation needs automobile access, and that someone is not me.
Signed,
Kestral

Wait, what? Is Kestral saying we should... What?

I drank beer and I still have the sense to know what/who he is talking about. But I am angry at his form of expression. Sometimes beer makes me angry though. So I don't know. I understand what he's saying because I'm an O.G. on this forum. Just listen to Still DRE, but replace DRE with Leroy.
EDIT: Camille es un pendejo.
Something like that.

I thought at first this was another "infamous" thread. It has been a year since the last time, just saying. But that aside, I got it. I'm only slightly less O.G. than leroy so that probably helps.

It's either rather insane, or written in a deliberately annoying manner. Either way, Kestral seems to be suggesting that Dark Lord Cam (specifically him for some reason) set up a real life meetup.

After 3 read throughs, I think he wants to meet with Cam.
Which means I need to start working on the fan fiction to make it all the more awkward.

My Lords-Forum, can you not see the treachery that lies in this deceptive, petty, ill-conciever of lies?
He is a man that walks into the lands Oblivion to discuss topics not-Oblivion. He is a man that speaks of moderation, but descends into buffoonery. Were he a councilmen or president, he'd be the maker of unkept promises, or unfulfilled ones.
Mayhaps it be that I would gladly accept a meeting with High Moderator Camille, but it is certain of the fact that my grievances lay with another set of matters, though of a similar variety.

You're saying he's unfit to moderate? Or you want to shag him?

If you have something to say, say it. If you're proposing something, say it in such a way that at least someone else here has a clue what you're talking about. If you're filing a complaint, than be clear as to whom the target of the complaint is, and why you are complaining about their actions. Otherwise, all you're going to do is manage to annoy and confuse everyone (unless that was your original intention, in which case, congratulation).

HEAR YE, HEAR YE:
It was uttered long ago by the Elder Ones, and so it shall be said again by the Other Ones, and mentioned thrice more until it is made clear, that the authors who so lovingly pen their grievances make the concerns for which they air their grievances less shrouded by a veil and be as specific and clear as the summer skies are blue and sunny!
And thus it was said by the one named Avron that he who they call Kestral had best ought be more precise, and go into the lands of Skyrim to find the one named Cam, the supposed Dark Lord of the Bright Lands (for what is there that is dark in this place of generosity and merry making), and retrieve him so that together they might have coffee and biscuits like the merry dwarves sit around the bonfire of the great Shape Shifer, singing songs and making merry.
Also, one need not possess the mystery arts of the automobile; tis called "public transportation."
In any case, meet up - what are you waiting for?!

The good Lady-Avron bears ill-consent. For these grievances tend not to any particular wish to physically meet the directant, but rather, a criticism! His inability to deliver on promises, spoken and unspoken, has sickened me.
These grievances, my good lady, need not "preciseness," but perhaps clarification. But, that clarification is knowledge privvy to the directant, myself, and another person. Another person who may have been hinted at, perhaps in the most technical terms.

So why bring them up in a public thread if you don't intend to actually discuss it with anyone here? Are you deliberately wasting everyones time? If you wish to discuss something with Cam, it's rather simple to pm him.

Is there any particular reason you said Cam should meet Avron rather than yourself?

Maybe he is trying to say that a meetup would be nice, but we can't.

Image, if you will, Romeo and Juliet, but instead of mutual death, it's promises never fulfilled.
Dear Romeo is being played by Sir Camille Arrow and the part of Juliet played by Lady Kestral Knee, or something or other...oh look a penny!

Kestral wrote:The good Lady-Avron bears ill-consent.
Nay, sir, I do not. I bear only a will to know that one must be precise about their public grievances, else they are not quite public.
These grievances, my good lady, need not "preciseness," but perhaps clarification. But, that clarification is knowledge privvy to the directant, myself, and another person. Another person who may have been hinted at, perhaps in the most technical terms.
Then I may kindly suggest you take it to that person and not to an entire forum of good hearted and merry souls, lest I end the topic for you, kind sir.

SCENE 3, ACT 4
The air pressure seemed to leak away as fear-static raised the hairs of everyone's necks. Avron, her face locked in a visage of politeness, had just sharpened the situation to the keenness of a newly whetted dagger's edge pressed against the fleshy tissue of an innocent throat, throbbing with life and blood. Kestral, man of mystery and poet of puzzles, quizzically returned the look. Had the
Pink Green Lady subtly condemned this very eloquent, if I may say so, outlet of frustration, be it great or small, against a member of this social spider's web? And not merely condemned, mind you, but
threatened to
end this here attempt at transparent and public communication before even reaching fruition? How profane and dissolute and
blunt, despite the mimicry of sophistication Her Lady had adopted. Kestral tutted, no doubt.

Bwahahaha. Narzul, that was great. I applaud you, sir! Move over Crassius Curio!
Disclaimer: You can air what you want, I just prefer private words be shared in private, and public words made much less eloquent and more straightforward. A woman of puzzles I am not! Although I do applaud the manner. Perhaps we ought to write a UESP play? That shall be glorious!
PS - Blood makes me faint.
