Alright, we all know there are alot of quests in all TES games, now, some quests stand out and make you feel emotions, so, I ask you, what quests made you feel a certain way? What quests made you feel: Bad-ass, anti-climatic, happy, sad, angry, useless, important, heart warmed., ect.
Now, lets discuss!

The saddest one was when I had to kill the entire Draconis family in Oblivion :/

That was a sad mission... I felt like a bad-ass in the last theives guild mission where you STEAL AN ELDER SCROLL!
You basicly stole the game, in a sense.

The forsworn conspiracy in skyrim. I started out thinking the forsworn were bad guys and had to be stopped, but the deeper you get the more you realize that there aren't any bad guys in that quest. Except maybe the silver bloods but even they become sympathetic at the end.

I remember the first time I did the Cheydinhal Recommendation quest for the Mages Guild in Oblivion. That one really touched me, for some strange reason. It was really early in my Oblivion career, so I guess that might have something to do with it.
Also made Deetsan one of my favorite characters in Oblivion.

Book of Mara really made my heart warm... Like how you got an old man get his love. And the last part of that quest were you help to dead lovers be with eachother for the rest of eternity.

The quest where you have to cleanse the Cheydinhal DB Hall in Oblivion was extremely sad, in my opinion... Along with the Draconis family...

I hated the cleansing... I mourned my fellow assassins when I had to slit there throat inside out...
I nearly cried when I got the gold for being a personal gift-giver from a loving old woman to her family.
Although, I felt like a bad-ass when I killed the true traitor, when I killed him I was like...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!

In Morrowind, when I become the Grandmaster of the Morag Tong. Eno Hlaalu asked me to let him retire, and I decided to kill him. I didn't feel like the Grandmaster. After that I felt sad and lost.. it really nagged at my conscious, that I had made that decision.

So far, the battle for whiterun, when Jarl Barlgruf starts talking about corpse's in the streets familys etc, I felt like: " What have I done...?"
And since I lived in Whiterun attacking it was just ironicly sad.

The final Dark Brotherhood quest in Oblivion where I discovered who the traitor was. In particular when I read his diary and saw how he came to want to take revenge on the Dark Brotherhood, after Lucian decapitated his mother infront of him when he was just a small boy. I felt it was so sad that he had to endure the trauma of that - a small child becoming witness to the murder of his own mother at the hands of a contract killer hired by his father.
And then, despite the fact that the incident had undoubtedly made him go made and left him traumatised, he had still managed to summon the cleverness and discipline to take revenge on the entire organisation which had robbed him of his mother and his life. What a champ.
In his diary, the way in which he put his trauma into poetry made it all the more moving.

Sam's quest. After it ended, I stared at the screen for a few moments, shut down the computer and walked away.

I agree. I said my farewells to Antoinette before I "left on vacation". Ah, it was a forbidden love.

The Cleansing in Oblivion felt just completely wrong. Vincente, the vampire, and Antoinetta Marie. I did not like it one single bit to kill them, but, I felt proud that I managed to kill them all without one knowing what hit them, or, slit them... Also, the moment I walked into the house seeing Lachance's dead body. He was my mentor for crying out loud! An innocent man! Well, relatively innocent... Anyway, those were the saddest moments for me. One of the best moments was when I killed the last person after he killed the suspected murderer in 'Whodunnit'. It also was a pity because I got to like the person he suspected to be the murderer...

The Draconis family quest was far too sad. I couldn't bring myself to kill the guy who ran the Drunken Dragon so I didn't. He was the one who called me pal instead of citizen.
Laid To Rest in Skyrim was just awfully sad for me.
The mind of madness quickly cheered me up though.

I have to agree, the DB in Oblivion is just heart wrenching at times. Cleansing the Sanctuary was heart breaking, Lucien's death was shocking, and despite it all I couldn't help but admire the killer at the end. Not to mention, the characters you meet along the way are truly memorable.

Lucien's death was really sad, he was the only person I had left from the DB, everyone else was dead and Lucien was my mentor and he got killed because of a misunderstanding.
I only did the DB twice. First time I stopped at the Draconis family. Next time I managed to do the Draconis quest and completed the questline but never did it again.

It wasn't a quest but on Skyrim I was going to Riverwood to find a Blood Dragon attacking. After it landed at the tree trunk that Ralof sits on at the beginning Alvor the blacksmith got out a warhammer and charged across the bridge towards it. I almost shouted "ALVOR! NOOOOOO!!!!!" in real life. He was dead before he got there. After I killed the dragon everyone ran over to Alvor's dead body and little Dorthe (Alvor's daughter) ran up to him and said "This can't be happening." and I felt really sad. Since we didn't have a funeral pyre I put his body on top of his forge. He has remained there in the heart of his forge ever since.
IDEA FOR NEXT GAME INSPIRED BY THIS
To have cemeteries in each settlement so that if a character dies, they are buried there. Even better if they have funerals that you can attend.

Heh, i thought the Draconis family quest was hilarious, especially when i bribed the mother of the 100 gold before i murdered her and her children.
Gotta admit though, i really felt for the traitor after reading the journal. And completing the final thieves guild quest made me feel like i was on top of the world!

Probably Narfi's quest. I couldn't bring myself to lie to the poor guy about his sister... :/
