In terms of new books, I really like Concise Account of the Great War Between the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion (i.e. The Great War) by Legate Justianus Quintius for all the juciy new 4th Era Lore it gives.

A gentleman's guide to Whiterun was funny. The Bear of Markarth was good too. Also, all the history written about what you did in Oblivion was cool to read.

Immortal Blood is a very tintillating tale.
But my favourite is horror story Legend of Krately House.

My favourite are all the Dwemer books that were added, I can just imagine my Dunmer sitting down on his chair in front of the fire in Vlindrel Hall, a cup of mead in one hand, and the Dwemer Inquiries in an other, as his housecarl stands behind cosntantly repeating "Greeting my Thane", oh how cosy.

That's exactly what my Dunmer does, but oh dear, he can't enjoy it cause there is a luxury-problem with 2 "homes" and many shelves...

So, I have to ask you: how do you sort your books??
By now i try to have all the Nord/Skyrim-related books in Breezehome in Whiterun, and most of the rest in Vlindrel-Hall. But it doesn't always work out ... topics overlap, timelines....
Which books would you advise me to have in smaller Breezehome and which in the "main library"?

Well in my Markarth house I generally order things the way they order them on the imperial library website, the only reason I manage to fit them all in on my shelves is because books regarding fiction and mythology have no place in my library.

I liked the one about the Dremora Lord summon... A Tragedy In Black.
My favorite books overall would still be the MK stuff, like Song of Pelinal.
2920 is a good book returning from previous games, as is The Real Barenziah.
I'd recommend A Dance In Fire and its sequel, the Argonian Account..
Is The Remanada in this game? I haven't found it yet. I love that one. Another MK joint.

A Game at Dinner. A most enjoyable tale, especially when one is aware of the story behind it thanks to the Publisher's note.

That book has some of my favorite lines from any book.
"And Hrol did love unto a hillock!"
"And in the child's forehead was the Chim-el Adabal, alive with the dragon-fires of yore and divine promise, and none dared obstruct Sed-Yenna when she climbed the steps of White-Gold Tower to place the babe Reman on his Throne, where he spoke as an adult, saying I AM CYRODIIL COME."
"One of their number, called the Chevalier Renald, discovered the prowess of Cuhlecain and then supported him towards the throne. Only later would it be revealed that Renald did this thing to come closer to Talos, anon Stormcrown, the glorious yet-emperor Tiber Septim; only later still, that he was under instruction by a pig."

I just read it's in Oblivion too, I just never found it, I wasn't too fond of collecting books there. I love a great number of books, but once you have your library in Morrowind, you tend to go "meh" on them later.

The Exodus. Man that was creepy.
My all time favorite book included Sheogorath. I don't quite recall the name. But on my first character I kept the book with me when I first found it. The story was about a spat between Hiricane and Sheogorath, and how a bird fought a Daedroth that was a werewolf. It was creative in a sense that it showed one didn't need to be huge and vicious in order to be a good fighter. Sometimes it's just a matter of maneuverability.
Either way it was a real good story, and then there's the Lusty Argonian Maid.....
