A bit too early for that methinks. The game is only 3 weeks old, and they have more pressing matters at the moment.
But, like Wolfie said in the post above me, mid-2012 sounds reasonable. Can't say I've heard anything myself, other than DLCs are confirmed.

I'd give it at least half a year. Especially since they have the complaints about the bugs and glitches to deal with (I am sure Bethesda is in over their head with that) and that has their hands full for now.
Although the Construction Kit is said (don't quote me, because I am not 100% sure) to come out in January 2012.

First thing I'm gonna do with that is boost werewolves and nerf vampires.

Dunno why, but this made me laugh.

I really doubt it. They will want something out much sooner than that, and the content creation teams are not the same as the patch teams.

In terms of the smaller "plug-ins" for Oblivion, the Horse Armor pack came out 2 weeks after the game launched, the Orrery two weeks later, and the Wizard's Tower eight days after that. Granted the first two were going to be in the initial release but were dropped due to time constraints, but still.
For a full-blown expansion, I'd say at least six months is a good bet (Tribunal came out six months after Morrowind, Shivering Isles about a year after Oblivion).

No no no, I don't mean plug-ins like enyamerT has explained below. I mean a full expansion pack (Tribunal, Bloodmoon, Shivering Isles, maaaybe Knights of the Nine). I said "
at least half a year." and six months (like enyamerT has said as well) is half a year.
Not trying to be argumentative or anything. :p Sorry to seem that way if I do.

How long did it take until Knights of Nine came out?
That would be the smallest sized DLC i would hope for

Oblivion came out March 20
th, 2006, and Knights of the Nine came out November 21
st, 2006. That's 8 months before the first actual (by definition I guess ...) expansion pack came out for Oblivon.

I do believe that Bethesda was planning on doing mostly larger DLC, so I agree with those saying 6 months. However, it could be less than that, but I'm guessing not, as they will be busy patching for a while.

Let's hope the first DLC is as big as Knights of the Nine. I really don't want horse armor, unless I can get a pink one for my Shadowmere.

Not to be a wet blanket, but I hope Bethesda puts their time and effort into getting the game debugged and patched properly before worrying about DLC. Getting DLC for a perma-borked game is just pointless.

Here's what is going to happen (and you'll hate me for saying it): they can't fix most of the issues with Skyrim, at all, and they don't plan on fixing it. They never did, they can't, and this time round they're dealing with a new system (the PS3) which they don't fully understand and don't stand a chance to fix-- PS3 owners are doomed to play a half-@$$d game.
They won't release a 64-bit executable; their technology is 32-bit based, probably over a half of their programming libraries are limited to 32-bit applications, and they designed Skyrim after the Xbox 360's limitations. Both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 are last-generation platforms, running on 32-bit systems and their memories (video and otherwise) are extremely outdated and much slower than what you're used to seeing as the standard for personnal computers (for the last 2-3 years, none-the-less). Besides, if they ever released official support of any kind that made the game more enjoyable on PC (reason why they will go as far as to tell you on twitter that you should run the game with a third-party launcher), console owners would feel cheated and cry foul.
DLC means extra profit; you can be sure of Todd Howard already thinking of the next steps and the hows, whys, whats of the couple DLC they might release 5 (I said FIVE) months from now. And you think they'll keep on fixing this game for how long, exactly? Just think back, way back, and tell me honestly that you believe Bethesda is slightly worried about ironing out every bug in this game. They are not.
And their PR is the worst, ever.

That'd be nice, but fabittar makes a very ....
stern point. I disagree with probably 99% what he's saying (or at least the way he's saying it) but he's right about Bethesda not wasting a lot of time on patching the game.

You don't think they'll patch the bugs?
That is disappointing, because as much as I love the game, this is the least polished its ever been. I haven't played Skyrim in over a week because I blew 12,000 gold on Hjerim only to find out I can't upgrade it. Lost interest. >_>

You don't understand.
Bethesda are horrible, and they made this buggy ass game to mess with all of us, and now they're going to release DLC that we'll all buy for their buggy game and MAKE EVEN MORE MONEY and then WE'LL HAVE MORE BUGS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.
And they'll never do anything because they made the game for the console market and have shunned the PC gaming community and the gaming industry is DYING because of this.
