Just wondering if anyone has come across a Fortify Enchanting Enchantment? If so, where?

I believe there is only Fortify Enchantment Potions

The trick is to use Fortify Enchant Potion, to make a Fortify Alchemy Gear, which lets you make a stronger Fortify Enchant Potion, which ...etc

There is no Fortfiy Enchanting Enchantment, but as Talamare is, it is said to be possible to use a combination of Fortify Enchanting Potions and Fortify Alchemy Enchantments to create a feedback loop that can buff your Enchanting skill so high you can make fairly powerful enchantments. I'm guessing Bethesda will patch this out in some way or another though.

Sounds like something I should try before it gets patched!

Yeah, hope it's not patched in the upcoming patch, as I won't be playing until December. I want to make the most powerful weapons and armour... and then not use them, otherwise there's no fun! If it gets patched, could someone please write it down in this thread?

It's not exactly on topic but... does anyone know where I can find an item with Fortify Destruction that's not bundled with Regenerate Magicka.

They will just show up in random loot. I know I have had a ring with fortify destruction before, but I don't recall it being non-random loot

Check general goods traders. I have found them in their inventory in Whiterun and Solitude.

For those of you wanting to test the "feedback loop" of enchantments and spells, it seems there is a barrier you cannot go past. I have 100 Alchemy and Enchanting and made Fortify Enchanting potions and drank them before making Fortify Alchemy gear.

The hard cap is at 32% Fortify Enchantment for the potion, and 29% Fortify Attribute on Enchanting. I have not been able to raise either of these past these points.

The Destruction trainer in Winterhold College also sells Fortify Destruction enchanted equipment.

Do you mean 29% fortify attribute on enchanting? I thought there were no fortify enchantments except in potions.

There are fortify skill enchantments, just no Fortify Enchanting enchantments.

Nope. The highest I can get on each:

Alchemy (using 4 pieces of armor enchanted with 29% Fortify Alchemy) - Fortify Enchantments by 32%

Enchanting (using 32% Fortify Enchanting potion) - 29% Fortify Alchemy (or any other Attribute such as Destruction, Illusion, Smithing, etc.)

As you can see the potion stops working when you get it to 32%. The same effects are given with a portion of 31% Fortify Enchantment.
