-rolls eyes- already a thread for this.

Ooops, didn't see it on the main page

I can see the headlines 16 years from now:

"Angry teen slays shallow parents for sentencing him to a lifetime of ridicule and misery for having been given an idiotic name just so they could win a contest"

That's alright, your avatar is an axolotl. We forgive you.

Why Dovahkiin? Why not an actual name? :I I mean maybe a major character's name like Esbern? I mean it's still odd but at least it's an actual name...
I suppose I'm trying to use logic, that's the problem.

Yeah, this is bad, and they should feel bad.

Well if I had a dauther I was wanting to name her Hildegard so I supose I shouldn't judge but still atleast Hildegard is an actual name...

Dovahkiin is an actual name... well, now it is...

Yup. 50 years from now, it will be the most popular name in the world, ehh? But really! Excluding any ridicule and outside influence, you must admit that Dovah'kiin is a bad-arse name.

Oh so we've all forgotten about not posting in dupe threads rule have we?

I actually never saw the original thread, so far as I know, I wasn't posting in a dupe thread.

And that is why we search the forum before creating a new topic.
