When a draugr "shouts", does it disarm your followers too?

I just spent a LOT of time enchanting and gave my follower some decent equipment. Has anyone had their followers lose weapons from them being disarmed? Do they automatically try to retrieve it?

I'VE never been disarmed by draugr. Do they really do that? Never had a follower be disarmed either

I find that Draugr shouts only disarm certain weapons, although I may be wrong. When equipping a Drainspell bow, I was disarmed, as well as while carrying a custom enchanted Orcish Mace. However, my "quest item sword" only became unequipped, I didn't drop it.

Their Unrelenting Force shout has a pretty good chance to disarm (in my experience) ~level 15. Gets pretty obnoxious... and kinda scary, hah.

That's because it's a quest item :P Oblivion was the same way.
I've had my bow and my greatsword disarmed, so I don't think item type matters. Luckily, I haven't had to randomly notice Lydia no longer carrying Dawnstar, so I don't think they can be disarmed. Other NPCs retrieve items for you when you drop them, hopefully they'd be smart enough to retrieve their own on being disarmed, hah.
