To smelt drawrven ignots, some of the scrap parts you find in their ruins can be smelted for that.

Orchish ignots, you need to mine Orcanium (or something close to that spelling) and smelt that.

Orcish (or Orichalcum) Ingots can be purchased at sufficiently high Smithing level (may require the Perk), or smelted from Orichalcum Ore, which can be found randomly or mined (I assume; I haven't seen an Orichalcum mine yet).

Dwarven Metal Ingots can be purchased at sufficient level (Perk may be required) or smelted from Bent Dwemer Scrap Metal and other such pieces.

EDIT: Ninja'd.

I don't get how you can get dwarven metal ingots from bent scrap metal, but not regular scrap metal.

Derp, I think he means you can from "Dwarven bent scrap metal" and not "Dwarven Scrap metal".

Which is probably just another oversight on Bethesda's behalf.

Yes, that's what I meant. :|
It doesn't make much sense, and I hope they release an update or something soon.

But you're gonna smelt it in a furnace, what difference would it make?

By bending it I think you make the metal more easy to smelt. Bending might make the particles more loosely packed.

Okay don't get the physicist started on 'particles' in metal. -rolls eyes-

All it really is, is an oversight. Seeing as Dwarven ignots come from Dwarven scrap, can't blame Bethesda for missing just one.

There are orichalcum veins around. They are not rare, just not as common as iron.

I left Mzulft today with 3.2k weight worth of loot excluding the storage outside. Looking forward to see what it's all for. Not that I'm expecting dwemer bowls and goblets to be for anything :)
