In my time of need quest

So, a majority of this will be in spoiler and I'd like some opinions of what I should do.
Spoiler:
So this quest begins when some Alik'r warriors (yes, like the Alik'r desert in Hammerfell. Hell they look like Arabian soldiers from the Abbasid Caliphate) are in town and being told my the guards to leave. They are not allowed in the city, like Khajits. So they ask you to tell them any information regarding a Redguard women whose living in Whiterun. Simply go to the Barred Mare and speak to the redguard in the room. She'll tell you that the Alik'r soldiers are assassins whom are hunting her due to her speaking out against the Altmeri Dominion. Then after you go find the prisoner, pay his 100 septim fine and go to the Swindlers Den (as well as killing some bandits) you actually meet the Alik'r warriors. The man you are to kill, Kematu, gives you the choice of talking or fighting. Talking with him shows a different side of the story. Apparently she is on the run for betraying the city of Taneth to the Dominion. When the other noble houses found out about this, she fled to Skyrim. The Alik'r Warriors are sent to bring her back to face her crimes against the people of Hammerfell.

Now, not only is this getting back to Morrowind's moral ambiguity but it destroys it out of the water. Now the thing is, whom should I trust? The girl who could not trust anyone and was forced to deal with me or the warriors who are in skyrim looking for this girl?

The path you take is entirely up to what feels right for you. I don't know if there's a definite right or wrong way to conduct this quest. However, given the title of the quest, In My Time Of Need, not In Our Time Of Need, I'd guess aiding the one might be "more" correct than aiding the group.

Spoiler:
At any rate, the reward for the quest is the same, no matter which way you play it: 500 Gold.

Spoiler:
I did this quest, and I chose to deliver her to the Alik'r. I reasoned it out along these lines: when I spoke to the fugitive, she pulled a sword on me. I don't like having swords pulled on me in inn rooms, so I sold her out.

After I led her to the Alik'r, they seemed to be legit. I was almost expecting them to prove my trust in them wrong and kill her on the spot, but it didn't happen.

Has anyone finished the quest the other way? What happens?

Spoiler:
I chose to turn her over to the Alik'r, if only because Kematu seemed reasonable and level-headed. I was pleasantly surprised when he paralyzed her at the stables, as I was almost expecting a double-cross where he'd kill her and then ambush me.

Spoiler:
I went ahead and supported the Alki'r warriors, and I am wondering what is the state of Hammerfell that these warriors must exist. Or what they are, like in comparison to the DB or Companions.

I made a different choice than others previously posted.
Spoiler:
I chose to side with the woman and kill the Alik'r. My reasoning was this: when they first 'hire' me, they sound rather suspicious, plus the city guards react to them like they were bandits. Yes, you could say that Nords are hardly the most tolerant of people. But then, when I go to their cove, I find out that they actually are using a bandits' cove and paying them for it. And then their story stinks. If the noble woman had sold the city to the Altmer, why couldn't she run to them for protection? Why is she hiding in poverty instead as a lowly tavern cook?
The fight was pretty hard - especially as I don't have companions with me - but doable, I retreated to the corridor, thankfully the many thugs clash with each other while trying to squeeze in so I was able to kill off a few of them with my bow before they reached me, then I kept retreating and shooting.

Spoiler:
I quicksaved, and tried to kill them, and I quickly figured: If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Yes, I do make up complex and detailed backstories.
My character was born in Taneth and saw his father killed in an Altmer attack. So when I found out that Saadia sold Taneth out to the Aldmeri Dominion I was furious.

I sided with Saadia. The turning point was my character's desire to keep every promise she makes. But I believe her anyway.

If there are any survivors at all, you're doing it wrong. Did you cast Calm on her so you could collect the quest reward for killing him before you killed her?

Spoiler:
If I remember correctly, Hammerfell was extremely anti-Thalmor, so a group of brigands kidnapping someone and taking them to be executed there seemed suspicious to me.

Depends do you want a lot of curved swords. I usually kill the bandits at Swindlers Rock then turn on Saadia (I obtain my curved sword during the Dainty Sload quest to improve the Thieves Guild and she does pull a knife on you and threaten to chop you in half with it).
