When or if you had that moment. Attempting to do something and realizing theres a MUCH easier way, getting destroyed by a creature you thought you could take, getting killed by a mudcrab, all times of embarrasment welcome. If needed use spoiler tags.
Trying to take on two mammoths at level 4.
I was [&@%!] myself happy when I found M'aiq, Sadly I at first thought "BANDIT" and shot him. I reloaded
In the tutorial I was mistaken and attacked my ally through the whole thing.

Tried to burn some Draugr by shooting a fire spell into an oil puddle. Didn't think that I was in the puddle too... Luckily my character was a Dunmer, but he still almost died.

Found a dragon fighting a giant as I was runnning down a mountain towards Winterhold. Deciding the dragon was the biggest threat, I helped the giant kill it and it went down fairly easily. Then the giant turns around and one hits me with his mace before I can get a spell off.

Realising exactly where the start of the seven thousand steps to the Throat of the World are, after running around the whole thing.

I ran off exploring right after the tutorial, and the first three dungeons I attempted to raid I was killed by a Falmer, a pair of Ice Trolls, and the third time by some kind of sabre tooth cat before I could even get in the door.

When I was on a quest where I had to find a client in a dungeon, going inside, clearing the whole dungeon and dying three times to a Draugr Overlord or something, and be like "where the hell is this guy" - later finding out he was just inside the dungeon to the left - about 10 sec from the door from which I entered.

I had the exact same problem. It was quite embarrassing. I ran around it 2-3 times before I realised.

Tried climbing the Throat of the World without using the seven thousand steps (I couldn't find them).
Failed miserably.
Walked over to a river, and let the current carry me......
Right over the edge of a 70ft tall waterfall with rocks at the bottom.
I played the game for 3 hours before I realized that I had a healing spell. That could've helped in many situations.

I changed the difficulty from adept to expert only to get my A$$ handed to me by some Draugr. Needless to say I went back to adept.

Tried killing a Mammoth around lvl 3 or 4, didn't realize how strong they were or how fast. After it got more than 1 of it's friends ((had about 3-4 chasing me at once)) I had to reload as I couldn't get away fast enough
Didn't realize how strong mudcrabs are in Skyrim, almost died to them, 4 at once.

I did the same. Wildly swinging at every moving thing wasn't a good idea. :P

Not the whole thing, but almost. I eventually gave up trying to tell the difference between him and the enemies in the dark and just let him handle all the combat. Man I felt like a n00b, hah.

I did that, five hours in after a difficult boss fight and using up all my potions that's when I decided to check my spell menu. D'oh!

I went to go chat with some giants, no seriously I thought they were nice...one runs up to me, hits me with his hammer, I fly about 50000000000 feet into the air. I also tried to take a mammoth out by smacking it in the face at level 3 before thinking to myself "Hey, why not just sit up on that rock 5 feet away and shoot it with arrows?".

Oh gawd, this. Try using rivers to get away from trolls/sabre cats.
Burning to death AFTER killing the Dragon.

last autosave, end of tutorial. lawl.
btw, you can see dark clouds coming from morrowind.

Okay I have had a hard time on this game, but I am proud to say I have never been killed by a mudcrab.
