Ah... haven't seen one of these threads in a long time. I remember the days we had one every couple of weeks, was beautiful times. Guess that if even newer peeps say this sort of thing then it must be true.

I will say it is not 'perfect', nowhere is, but they are some of the reasons I hang out only here and not on other forums. Plus I swear the beige has a soothing effect on me...

Anyway, we're an odd forum. Since we're relatively small, we hold onto that little things that make this forum unique. And even in times of increased activity, our stoic mods always try to instil the good behaviour on the populace.

Yeah, these Forums are great, and so are the people on them. Hopefully they won't change too much because of the surge in members on and shortly after 11.11.11

I've always liked the papery colour of the Forums over the Blacks or Blues of other Forums, like the Beth Forums, it's nice.

I think that people here are simply friendly, and friendliness spreads. A kind word, while not always the most constructive, never goes astray, and I think people here understand that. That's why so many of us take the time to stay up to date with the Welcomes and Goodbyes, because sometimes a special welcome can make a person feel ... special.

I agree with you Duruza, also maturity and a certain standard of discussion seem to be knitted into the very fabric of our little 'society'(lack of a better word). I find those that tend to be angry and obscenely rude tend to end up gone before long, probably crawling back into the broken structures of the internet forums they use to dwell in.

I've been to a few forums, but I enjoy this one the most. I like that it's small, and that I don't have to learn about 10 new people's names a day.

Even though I hardly post I tend to look in here ever so often and have to fully agree with all statements in this thread!

I love this forum! Everyone is nice and speaks with respect! I was very suprised to be honest when I first saw this place!

These forums are great. Kind of like family. I think I've left here like 3 times, but I always end up coming back, because, well, all of my friends are here, at the end of the day.

It seems that I never even bothered to introduce myself when I first joined. But by the time I had to leave, I was feeling welcome enough that I felt it necessary to post a goodbye.

I remember that welcome fondly, but I have a lot of other memories I treasure too. It's odd, because I think of how I could of joined as far back as 08/09, but that I didn't until this year (and not because of Skyrim, but because I just spontaneously decided I wanted to join). I think it was a good decision, despite the ups and the downs, it's certainly been interesting, and character building, and I've met a lot of great people.

I have, actually, never been a part of a forum other than this one. I have tried, but people aren't As UESP awesome. Unless they are UESP members using Cactus or Weasel to talk without the filter.

Really, this forum has chewed up so much of my life it's not even funny. But I don't mind because I have made some really great friends. Mostly in the RP section. You know who you are.

Yeah, about that life, I have wasted so much time here this year it isn't funny (and not done homework when I really should have been - although don't sweat it, I always manage to get it done or make it up at some stage), I've loved it though, and it's so hard not to turn up, I would miss you guys.

I just realized that I have been spending so much time contemplating whether or not to FB so I can keep in contact with my friends and family, but here I am on a forum with people I've never met and probably never will meet. Great. *face-palm* I feel kinda dumb.
