The question is what is your favorite Elder Scrolls Race cast a vote I stress this means in all Elder Scrolls not just in one certain game what your fav race is im interested to see what the most played and most popular races are and if you would like post why you like that particular race.( My particular favorite is Nord)

I know I know but I noticed all the other ones where for a certain game in which the vote could be biased depending on where the game takes place in this one its just your favorite race in general not your favorite race in Morrowind etc thats the only reason I made this because I felt the other ones where biased such as the other one that has a similar title is actually for just Morrowind so yeah...

Dunmer are my favorite race, although Khajiits come close.
Dunmer because they have an interesting backstory, awesome and unique looks, and generally they suit my style (stealth) better, but are also good at combat and magic. The only thing I don't like about them and their culture is slavery and xenophobia.

My favorite race is Dunmer. I love them because they have awesome stats and are so heavily into lore.

Unlocked since, there is in fact, no other topic like this in Tes General.

I like Bretons, but looks like they will be powered down in Skyrim from magic resistance to just shock resistance.

Dunmer. Definitely. They have that awesome voice too.

True they are my second favorite

Of course, Oblivion doesn't have that awesome voice. It sounds like absolute crud. In Morrowind, however, the voice sounds raspy and deep. Awesome.

Yeah I didn't even think about voices im hoping in Skyrim not every nord will talk the same it seemed like every race had one tone and that was it

Thanks to this, however, I finally realized that Jauffre's a breton.

Maybe because they have been overpowered in the past?

Anyway, I took this one on predominatley Lore standpoint, with the combine playability of Morrowind and Oblivion, with a small influence from Daggerfall and Arena, and I have to say the Dunmer are my favourite of these races, followed closely by the Altmer.

They have such a well established culture, and it's one that I honestly and simply, enjoy. I'm finding it difficult to put it into words at the minute (I'm pretty exhausted right now).

Khajiit all the way. Khajiits are fluffy, acrobatistic, and are just fun to play!!

Wood Elf, myself... Though I don't like the look in Skyrim. I might go with a Breton instead.

Altmer followed closely by Bretons, I love the lore of both races especially where their histories come together in the Direnni hegemony. pax et bonum
