Daedric ?

What will Daedric items look like in Skyrim ? Has anyone seen any leaked images, or heard any information even mentioning Daedric items ?
Personally I think Daedric armour was horribly disgusting looking in Oblivion ... Didn't even look like armour. It looked like a huge cumbersome plastic dress with ridiculous amounts of unnecessary spikes on the shoulders and helmet. Morrowind's Daedric items however looked premo if you ask me. They were great, and I love that they were RARE, and that bandits weren't wearing it. Only a few select people in Vvardenfell had Daedric armour, it was a lot more fun to have the challenge ...
WHY BETHESDA ! WHY DID YOU TAKE THAT OUT OF OBLIVION. BRING IT BACK TO SKYRIM.

I think the Dunmer Thief in one of the screenshots is wielding Daedric daggers

As far as I'm concerned, they don't look Daedric enough. Could just as well be (Nordic) steel daggers.

I was thinking that too. Too much grey, not enough ebony/ red.

It looks like it has a Daedric handle and a steel blade

True, true. I guess we'll have to see.
Heck, for all we know we could both be wrong, and those are unique daggers. Perhaps twin daggers of sorts ? Quest rewards .. I don't know how else to explain. I hope you get what I mean.

The handle looks Daedric, and the spiked/serrated blade seems Daedric, but looks iron/steel.

The red "stripe" (seen better if you increase the brightness of the pic) makes it look Daedric too

I've seen that pic many times, but now I realized how obscure that dagger is, haha!
The pommel looks nordic, but the guard and and the blunt side look daedric. And the blade itself is really strange, the design looks daedric, but it's most likely made of steel. So.. it's a daedric weapon that's not made of the usual magically refined ebony, but common materials instead? Maybe it's a ritual dagger of some sort? And the fact that the Dunmer seen in the picture is most likely an assassin leads me to believe that this is the trademark dagger of the Dark Brotherhood.
Just a guess though!

i've read that you can "craft" weapons using steel and wolfhide lether (or another type of lether) for the handle.
maybe this is a crafted steel blade with a deadric handle?

Maybe it's the updated Blade of Woe?

Two Blades of Woe?

Now that there's dual wielding, maybe there could be an option to have two, or even to have different Dark Brotherhood-specific weapons. If you can, I know what my assassin character is going to use now!

Those handles just don't look Daedric to me. They look to be black with gold trim, and nobody has suggested ebony? The blade being steel could mean they are A) PC-crafted or B) unique.

I have come to my own self-conclusion that these daggers are in fact, not Daedric. Daedric items have more red in them ... :/ Now that I think about it, these don't have enough red, plus ... They wouldn't show off some of the best quality items in the game in a screen shot that was given to us by Bethesda. The best quality items I have seen so far is that glass (shortsword ?) in the demo that Todd uses duel weilding the iron (short, or longsword ? I can't tell).
Anywhoo .. I guess we'll just have to wait until the game is released and one us gets that far .. Er at least until someone uses the console commands.

Not relevant. The character in the picture is holding
two daggers.

Daedric is Ebony bound with the spirit of a lesser Daedra though, so they are bound to look alike. Ebony doesn't normally feature red though, probably why nobody mentioned it.
But the real reason I came here
: There are those mysterious dagger again.
