Is the Enchant skill in Skyrim going to be the same as in Morrowind or have they improved it?

Has it been confirmed that we will need a alter of enchanting?AKB wrote:Those are just the perks... But yeah, it's going to be mainly different due to those perks I believe.

Lol .. The glow in Morrowind was nice. I liked it and there wasn't even a glow on enchanted equipment in Oblivion, it would glow once when you equip it, then look like a regular (let's just say) Iron Longsword.Knight wrote:I hope that the ugly glow that all the enchanted items in Morrowind and Oblivion had isn't present in Skyrim. Not sure on this one .. I don't think there will be fire on your sword that is enchanted with fire. There would be too much on screen for the game to render if you're around high level characters; both your weapon and the enemies enchanted weapons/ armour with constant visual effects that appeal to us would probably cause something to go wrong (lag as an example). I could be wrong, but that's just what I think .. This isn't an MMO or dungeon crawler where the equipment is flashy and super beast looking with tons of visual effects. Not sure. If you can link me some sources on it, that'd be cool. Funny, the only mod I ever used in Morrowind removed the weird, or as the mod called it, "plastic", effect. I take back what I said about Oblivion's magical glow though, it wasn't that bad.mcjordalini wrote:Lol .. The glow in Morrowind was nice. Lol. :p That'd be cool if there was a way to remove an enchantment.Knight wrote:Funny, the only mod I ever used in Morrowind removed the weird, or as the mod called it, "plastic", effect. I take back what I said about Oblivion's magical glow though, it wasn't that bad.![]()
Oh, by the way, I hope there's a way to remove enchantments.
Lol, you mean like stacking enchantments ? I think they'd let you do that because it's really up to you what enchantments you want, and if you have a full set of Chameleon .. You'd be at a disadvantage for somethings since you don't have other enchantments .. That's how I see it at least.LordOfAll wrote:Will you still be able to do the old gander with the "Enchanting something beyond %100" effectively allowing you to become immortal/unseeable/unbeatable?
There is, in fact that is one way of moving up your enchanting skill.Knight wrote:
