Um why wont it let me put a avatar!? Lol I want a picture!

Welcome Dopey to the Forums. The reason you can't have an avatar yet is because you aren't a confirmed user.
Read this section from the
rules:
Confirmed users – you will only be added to this group once you have been active for 7 days and made 10 posts. However, you can request to join the group earlier by going to the “Usergroups” link on your User Control Panel, selecting "Confirmed Users" and then "Join Group". You’ll only be able to add an avatar, post links, post images and send PMs once you’ve been added to this group, so please feel free to ask.

@Scribbane Much appreciated ;D Lol & Yes i'm new to the fourms... lol I love the website , I usually come here for info on lore and such ... but I just found out they have fourms its awesome!

Always glad to have new members. Take a look at the rules that I linked to if you haven't already, and like I said, feel free to introduce yourself over in the Welcomes thread if you'd like. A mod will most probably lock this, since your question seems to have been answered, so just a heads up. Again, welcome.

Correcto. Let this be a friendly reminder to read the rules, which do explain this, and to check out the
UESP Site subforum, which has half a dozen topics on this already.
