How the history of Tamriel would be changed?

How the history of Tamriel would be changed if only Captain Renault thought of carried a Divine or an Almsivi(that might not work though with the fall of Tribunal) Intervention Scroll or Uriel bothered to learn Mark and Recall spells?

Alternate history question! What would happen if Mannimarco was not defeated by champion of Cyrodiil or a new age begun on Shivering Isles?

Well, the new age of the isles would little effect Nirn. After all, that's happened loads of times before.

I've moved this to TES General because we're trying to keep the lore forum for discussions of established events, and while this topic is interesting it's certainly not doing that.

I'll have more for you once I've researched the one major piece of lore I've used in a fanfic, which is the Arnesian War.

And now you realize how pointless the death of the Emperor was.

Screw fate, I got intervention of Divines!

But I'm guessing it happened "Too quickly", as the entire premise of the Imperial City in Morrowind (Cyrodil City) was in a bit of unrest.

So, naturally, with the Emperor sick, most aid was probably given to him. Then his sons die miraculously (without mention or thought of them being fakes from Jager Tharn), so the Blades just speedily try to get him out of the city than do logical things.

For really when your life is threatened, you usually do things out of haste than thinking in a rational mind set. This is prevalent in zealous body-guards.

But if the Emperor survived? There probably would have been a longer-peace period, with no Daedric invasion to destroy Ald'Ruhn or cause shifts in Imperial hegemony.

Morrowind would pretty much be the same with the exception of slavery in Morrowind, Ald'Ruhn would exist, Vivec would exist so Vvardenfell still exists for a time, and there is no Second Arnesian War at the Fourth Era mark.

Likely the Mythic Dawn would be hunted down and killed by the Blades instantly, after months of research and investigation. The PC would roam a free mer/man/whatever but not be a legend or a God.

It'd be pretty peaceful, up until Uriel Dies. Then everything goes as so, with the world being brought to its knees.

Mannimarco's mortal flesh would still exist, waging his war against the bureaucracy of the Mages Guild while they slowly decline. Or quickly decline.

And the Shivering Isles remains the same.

"We made it, milord! We've escaped the deathtrap of your palace and have found our way into a prison filled with guards and soldiers who will fight for you to the death! What shall we do now?"

"Let's leave 'em and slink our way through a hidden passage that may be teeming with the very assassins we're trying to avoid, then."

"Very well, milord. What's this prisoner doing here? This cell is supposed to be off-limits..."
