Red Dead Reloaded (RDR roleplay)

President Woodrow Wilson leads the United States into a neutral stance as World War I tears European nations apart. Mexican-American relations are becoming strained, as political instability has plagued the Mexican government since 1911. President Abraham Reyes of Mexico rules over the Mexican people with methods that are even more brutal than his predecessor. Small, separate uprisings rage across the nation (especially within the northern province of Nuevo Paraiso, where the first revolution began).
December 22, 1916
A ferry glides into the port of Blackwater - the only major industrialized settlement in West Elizabeth. West Elizabeth itself has been completely blanketed by snow. It is very cold, yet equally peaceful. The Christmas season has arrived. The ferry’s passengers can hear the excitement of the civilians, tradesmen, and newspaper boys.
“Toys! You want em’! I got em’! Toys!”
“Get your coats! I’ve got all the coats you need for the holidays!”
“Get your meats! Meats for the Christmas feast!”
The wealthy, dressed in large fur coats and expensive hats, drive their automobiles and carriages through the city streets. The saloon is bustling with activity. Even the police officers enjoy cheerful conversations with the civilians.
You are one of the ferry’s passengers arriving in the state for the first time. Whether you came here for fame, fortune, or anything else is up to you. Your adventure in the “Dying American West” has begun.

You’re here to be famous? You’re here to make profits? You’re here on the run?
It doesn’t matter. You have arrived in West Elizabeth for a reason. But no matter the reason, you are a nobody in this state. If you walk into a bar and order someone to get out of their seat, everyone’s going to laugh at you (and someone may even pull out their guns). You do not have any authority over these people…yet.
You start small. You’ve got to make contacts. Allies. Friends. Or…if you wish to work alone, those things are unnecessary.
However, both making contacts and working alone takes time and effort. Kidnapping one outlaw, building one shop, or robbing one bank doesn’t make you a renowned resident of the West. But with enough work, you could possibly rise to become a famous businessman/businesswoman, a great politician, an FBI agent, a notorious bounty hunter, a well-feared outlaw, a skilled rancher, a wealthy property owner - ANYTHING!
But it will take time. In this RP, you will have the opportunity to alter history itself. Will you aid the Native Americans in harassing the residents of West Elizabeth/New Austin? Will you aid the Mexican Army or peasant rebels in battling/causing the various rebellions occurring in Nuevo Paraiso? Will you cause the downfall of all order in the American states?
It all comes down to your specific actions. Also, put “Wanted: White-headed Capuchin” in your post if you read all of that stuff.
