Well, since the old thread is dead, I decided to make this one.

You know what to do.

UESP Minecraft Server
Image
IP Address: 70.115.78.168:25565 *NEW as of 5/15/2013*

Current version: Craftbukkit 1.7.2 Beta Build
Note: If your Minecraft is updated beyond this, it will not connect to the server. Keep this in mind!
If you did accidentally update, check this thread here for how to downgrade. (Thanks for Rose of Sithis for the link!)

Administrators/OPs: Avron the S'wit, Taters, Musicman247

Rules:
Rules are not optional; they must be abided by if you want to play on our server. Anyone who fails to follow the rules will not be whitelisted.
  • Don't be a jerk - no griefing. - Do not do anything that will cause another player or players grief or distress; act in a polite and courteous manner at all times. This includes and is not limited to the rules listed below and any threats, goading, harassment, and so forth. Actions on the server are logged; anyone found to be griefing will be banned with no questions asked.
  • No destruction of another player's property without said player's permission. - This is common sense: if it ain't yours, don't knock it down or modify it! Please ask before doing so. Community and group projects should be discussed together.
  • No foul or graphic language. - It's okay to be silly, but keep it PG13. If someone asks you to clean up your language or stop, please do so.
  • Choose a smart building distance. - With the exception of towns, which are communities, remember to build your large personal projects a safe distance from everyone else so that we are not on top of each other. A polite rule is outside of another player's line-of-sight. In or out of a city or town, don't build next to someone without their permission, please - they might have plans, and it's just rude!

Settlements, structures, and places of interest:
If you have something to add, please PM an administrator!
  • Yueespee - Located on the River Avron, the lovely village of Yueespee is located a short walk from the server's spawn point and is the heart of the community. Come here to start a home, get some materials, or hang out at the local tavern! Coordinates: x: 94, z: 291
  • Newspawn - The new frontier of the server, Newspawn serves as a new community building area, hopefully for a new town and a central location for exploration. If you're seeking a nice place to settle down, or perhaps a starting point for your journey to the far reaches of the world, this is your place. Coordinates: x: 199,473 z: 200,099
Community projects:
  • Building up Newspawn
  • Cleaning up Oldspawn and making it nicer
Recommended Texture Packs:
This server is run by Musicman247. No donations required. Have fun!

So about £12? I may get it. Memory size?

Is there food. I want realism! When i get it I'll invite you to my mining home, near lava, where we will build a castle and defend it! We can use the mine cart to escape with our wares! :D

Yes there's food. In fact in the next update it's believed that you'll be able to play a version that requires you to eat food.

I haven't got the money. Only a fiver... Unless. Erm... Well it's quite sad really.

Well, my gran normally gives me a fiver for helping her carry the shopping, but I don't like taking the money. Should I do it?

Damn Creepers. :x

I want this game, although I'll only play it if I'm with you guys. I get scared easily. Over-active imagination has its cons. It helps your writing but I just imagine everything coming to life. And I hate getting sneaked up on so I'll have to watch out for those creepers. Are they scared of torches?

Though don't make the for thinking you can buy the game of a shelf. It's Paypal purchase only so you'll probably need an adult with a card to buy it.

Plus the online is the most fun part, creating a world which you can create stuff in.

You can also turn off enemies for relaxing play.

Spiney, I already know that. I've had my eye on it for a while.

You can turn off enemies. I either get scared but it's fun, or not. Hmmm...

The enemies aren't the slightest bit scary.
Just damn annoying.

How do you turn off enemies?

Weasel, no matter how funny they look I'l always be a bit scared. Especially underground. If I forget my torches.

I see... I can finally explore that cave without being beast raped.
But once my mine is finished, they shall come back out. :Twisted Evil:

Weasel, can you get cave ins. If so then when I play with you we can hold the fort until we are overrun. Before escaping in a mine cart and exploding TNT that causes a cave in. How fast are the mine carts?

Re: Minecraft

I think it depends on the material with cave ins.
As far as mine carts, I haven't even found iron to make one yet!

Weasel, I will help you find iron soon!

Sand and Gravel will fall down if you remove what was supporting it, everything else is sturdy. That's why you never dig straight up.

Can you even join me in Weasel Land? It might not work online...
Yeah, that's the name of the map.
