I looked at a few tutorials on how to download and install mods, but I'm still completely stumped. I downloaded OBMM and after a while I thought I had figured out how to install it. I clicked create, then added the .esp file, and then I finished it. After that I activated it and made sure it was checked as an esp. I then went to see if it worked and it didn't. Was there other files besides the .esp that I should have added? Oh, by the way, the mod was Enhanced Economy.

You should just copy all the data from the .zip file into the Data folder in Oblivion. This has always worked for me, anyways.

I realized something though. You're running OBMM. I don't. I don't think it would make this method not work, but don't hold me to it's ability to work.

I just installed it today, because I thought I would be able to install the mod with it.

Does the readme for OBMM say to install mods differently?

I don't know. Where would it say that?

I manually installed and still nothing. Is there anyone here that has actually installed this mod?

Have you installed the required mods(obse) and looked for compatibility problems mentioned from the mod author?

yeah that's it. Okay, I didn't see the required mods part. I'll go install them.

Okay I installed them and everything was working. Now it's not. Do I have to delete the files and reinstall them or something. I don't understand why this is so troubling!

I highly recommend Wrye Bash if you have multiple mods installed - this has fixed so many incompatibility issues for me.
