You guys all know this I know, Just wondered peoples opinions on the confirmed non-Leathal Taven Brawls. I hope the player can get involed without: "Stop right there criminal scum, your stolen goods are forfit!". I think it will help make the inns/Tavens etc feel alive, in Oblivion the Tavens where beautiful, but so dead, I want a Skyrim Inn to be like Bree in PJ's LOTR, alive with drunken nords!

I think you still might have to go to jail, but I hope the guards respond differently to different crimes. For example, if I steal an apple or punch somebody and then resist arrest, I don't want every single guard in the city to try a kill me.

You walk up to a guy and drink his beer. Fighting ensues and the regulars gather in a ring to watch as you pummel eachother.

I wonder how the guards will handle that....maybe assault will only count if you're using a weapon and the rest of teh time it'll just be considered rough-housing?

They'd be much better if we could get drunk. You rarely hear of two people brawling in a bar when they're both sober. Mass,chain-reaction brawls should be a possibility if this Radiant AI is worth its salt.

Maybe the guards take in intoxication level? "Well, you attacked and killed this guy, but you had 10 beers and he started it, so we'll just write it off as a tavern brawl, okay?"

What happens if you have 1000 beers and kill everybody in this one city. Would it be a tavern brawl then?

Nope. That's the unfortunate side effect of 'yo-mama' jokes on a drunk person in the land of the Nords. Heehee.

Going out and getting hammered with a bunch of stolen goods is never a good idea in real life, and it shouldnt be a good idea on Nirn either.

Leave your loot at home when you go out to tie one off.

from a logical viewpoint, the guards would ignore the tavern brawls. Nords are a violent people by nature and it could help limit that. it would be better to have a few broken noises then rampant cases of battleaxe-to-head syndrom

Will it be perfectly legit to crack the bartender/maid whilst in the midst of a tavern brawl or to perhaps start one? I wanna haggle me some mead you see, so if the bartender/maid give's me a [&@%!] price on some liqour and i issue a right hook to his/her face, will this instigate a brawl?

Lol yeah, jails ok, but the whole of the city attack me...thats a little to far. That reminds me I'm looking froward to the fact that you can only be wanted in the area (hold?) you commit the crime, so in other citys your not wanted. IN Oblivion the guards must of had mobile pigeo-phones.....

I think this is one of the silliest things I have used greenpowers for yet, but there you go

Knocking out a random woman in a bar? Yeah.. i'm sure the customers will be fine with that.

I really hope they make an effect for getting drunk right up to the level where u pass out, blurry screens and stumbling around. Perhaps alcohol will drain your fatigue and when you drink too much your fatigue will eventually be drained completely leaving you collapsed on the floor until the effects have worn off XD

But yes I do look forward to going down to the local tavern for a friendly drink and rearranging someones facial features with my empty mead glass.
