Chimarvamidium

I lost my book Chimarvamidium and I can't return it. Does someone have an alternate way to finish this quest or do you know another copy of Chimarvamidium somewhere in Morrowind?

That's the only set copy of the book in the game.
It is a part of the random item lists, so it's possible to find another one somewhere but you would have to be extremely lucky.
If you are playing the PC version you could add it to your inventory with a console command. Enter the console with the tilde (~) key and type in:
Code: Select all
player->AddItem, "BookSkill_Heavy Armor3", 1
and then hit enter. Exit the console using the tilde key and the book should now be in your inventory.

I did the same with Redoran Cooking Secrets, as I've already "cleaned" the house. Luckly I found the bookseller that bought it.

Try to keep track of where you sell things - only sell stuff to the merchants in one town! That way, you know where to look all the time. I use Caldera, personally, because of Creeper.

I've tried various combinations of this code and its just not working.
Are there supposed to be commas and spaces?

Exactly as this -
player->additem bookskill_heavyarmour3 1
There is a space between 'item' and 'book' and between '3' and '1'
commas are not necessary as shown in the earlier example but will work.
