So what did you do on Oblivion today?

So, this thread is NOT meant to be some knock off of the interesting events ETC thread. It's more of a 'what happened to you today', Oblivion style

This is a place for you to discuss what you may have done, playing Oblivion today.

Today, I went to Chorrol, after finishing off with Umbacano, with the intention of buying a house. Because my character was beginning to get rather encumbered. (Not in the game, but I rp'd it. I was probably at 3/4 in game.) But I ended up taking part in the investigation into the stolen painting at the castle. After completing the investigation, it turned out the countess wanted a customer with a bit more renown to buy the house. What a gyp. But still wanting to buy a house, I bought the waterfront shack, at the Imperial city. Fully furnishing it.

I'm planning to raid some ruins freelance and do some odd-jobs for a while. I think I may join the arena for some money (I won't finish it though. Just enough for 12 fame points. I can say my guy wanted a break for treasure hunting), then I'll join the fighters guild after a game-month or so.

Well, I woke up, had my shreddies (2 helpings :Twisted Evil: ) and I set off to Leyawiin with the sole intention to lose a few pounds, as I was looking rather chubby! On the way I met a rude necromancer that went by the name 'Fred'. He told me that he was going to murder me if I stuck around for longer then 5 seconds, so I quickly scrambled. Within 5 minutes of walking, I stumbled upon a poor, lonely Khajiit, who was looking rather sad. I ran up to him and attempted to give him a hug. He was not impressed. he demanded 100 gold, but I refused and subsequently ran the poor kitty through with a rusty iron dagger. By this time, the sun was setting, and I was approaching Leyawiin. I made a quick stop off at the local shrine to Sheogorath and got recounted a tale of a sick Dunmer with an unfortunate taste for Bosmer flesh. He made me chuckle, so I thanked him and set off on my way; But not before saving my game! I then carried on my epic quest until I realised I hadn't eaten all day! I quickly scrambled through the undergrowth for an hour, desperately looking for anything I could whip up into a nice restore fatigue potion. I tripped on an inconvienintly placed rock into the marsh surrounding Leyawiin head first, and my very embarrased self pick himself up and dusted himself down. Eventually the epic hero, covered in sweat and goodness knows what else (he never showered, apparently some smart ass decided to wait until the 20th century for them to be invented  ) arrived at Leyawiin, feeling very upset. he got a text scroll message passed on to him from a local guard saying GTFO, and so he turned around, went straight out of the gates and drowned himself.

Wow. What a great day! :D

Very good. But this is actually a serious what you did in the game.

EG- what quests you did, anything you bought, any RPing, and/or what you plan to do.

No problem mate, it was pretty good though.

I think I will join the arena for a bit. After treasure hunting free-lance. My character can find it dull, then go and join the fighters guild instead.

I plan to delve into the Shivering Isles on my Imperial character soon. I just finished the main quest, and haven't even gotten my Dragon armor yet.

I haven't been on yet, unfortunately I have to go to work to make money to pay for new games and big screen tv's(picked up my 55 inch Sony Bravia last week) to enjoy said games. HOWEVER - when I get home I shall continue with my new High Elf character, he has just bought the waterfront shack and furnished it. I reckon I'll store my junk there, I collect a lot ingredients, and do some dungeon clearing. I have one aim in my game, other than enjoying it of course, I want to rob every house in the game. Every house, every NPC at least once.

Needless to say, that's going to take some effort.

I finished the last few quests in the fighters guild. I also sold lots of useless loot.

I went into Henantier's Dreamworld, and got glitch rocketed through a wall...
RELOAD
I went into Henantier's Dreamword, and rescued him. I then used that Orc's boat to get to Fort Grief, and went on a massive expedition expedition in the East Niben, discovering a dozen locations and slaying a score of nasty creatures. I then made the voyage to the Drunken Dragon, bought a room, had some supper, and went to bed.

Indeed it shall, but I reckon I can do it. I'll keep you posted. I've been playing too much Red Dead Redemption and I'm going to use Oblivion to stop the addiction.
Needless to say I'll start my Oblivion addiction, but that's probably a bit healthier.

It's not really the same day technically but "today" I finished all the recommendations for the mage's guild on my new character. I made him a couple of days ago, and I'm doing it legit and I want to complete everything, such as all guilds, SI, KOTN, main quest, etc and level him up to high 40's or to a 50. I'll post more about him in the character thread when I'm done, or at least close to being done. On top of finishing all the recommendations I got the mage's staff and raided a few ruins and caves, such as Vilverin, Fort Magia, Fort Blueblood, Undertow Cavern, and some others. I'm currently level 11 and I'm about to finish the quest for Nocturnal for the Skeleton Key.

Just discovered Skingrad, sold a bunch of loot I found in Cyatatar. Going to meet a guy named Sindirion about a weird plant I found near an Ayiled well. After that I'll see about goblin hunting that an Argonian chap told me about.

I only had a brief session today. I charged into Oblivion and defeated the Sigil Keeper, ending the siege of Kvatch.

I did the sewers with my Dunmer, ans sold all my crap to the gullible merchants in the market district! I seriously got pretty much what that goblin staff was worth for it! At mercantile level 5! I'm still level 1, but will soon be completing the siege of Kvatch, and then maybe go exploring! The dark brotherhood is pretty high on my list so I'm gonna go and kill that mythic dawn agent in Chorrol soon. Can't wait to get the Shrouded Armour!

I travelled to Bruma to prepare for a little survival hunting:
-Maximum Difficulty/Brightness Turned down
-Full Fur Armour
-1 Ebony Dagger/Ebony Bow/60 Arrows
-No health potions/fatigue potions/other buff items
-No spells activated
-The goal to eat 3 meals in 24 hours, all must have at least 1 meat item.
-NO waiting or sleeping for more than 2 hours.

The mountain forests were rather empty, I followed some deer for a good while but lost them when I had to evade a bandit. I headed further north, and had an unfortunate run in with a black bear, which hit with its claw and stunned me. For a second I was sure that was my hunting trip over but I managed to dodge it's second swipe before jumping up onto a fallen tree, running along it and bouncing over some rocks to make my escape. The bear pursued me through the trees for quite some time, but lost me eventually.
Heavy Snow stand fog arrivedso I could hardly see, even zooming in with my bow only allowed me to see a little in front of me, so I climbed up some rocks into a hollow log, inaccesible to animals, where I stayed. I had a stroke of luck when a lone deer strayed near enough so I could see it, and after an intense firing of arrows I dropped down to collect the meat.
The weather was only getting worse, and before I could retreat to the log I was attacked by a wolf which very nearly killed me had I not bolted into the fog.
After eating the deer meat, I wandered around, searching for animals, and I managed to kill an unsuspecting boar and was thankful to have found my second meal.
I spent the rest of the day wandering, the weather cleared and I made my way further up the mountain, enjoying the walk.
Until, that is, another bear, a brown bear this time, which took most of my health away with a heavy swipe of it's paw. I turned and ran...off a cliff, and fell down into a pool of water.
The bear followed down a steep path and I was hacing trouble out running it with a lack of climbable things or obstacles to use.
Eventually it caught me, and I got an arrow into it's chest before it killed me with another swipe.
Dang.

I had another session later, and got to level 3 in the arena! I'm now 1 fight away from Myrmidon, and will soon be helping Agronak with his 'troubles'. Really fun so far! Got about 1600 cash so can start looking into investments, but mostly I'm aiming for the Anvil house 8) I also want the hands of the atronach to make me immune to fire, and then will make my way to the Kvatch gate. Dark Brotherhood will come next, and at level 7 I'm gonna start the Thieves Guild and slowly progress with that, with the mages guild recommendations being slowly ticked off as I do 'Independent Thievery'. After getting all my recommendations, I'm gonna make some epic spells, go grab Fin Gleam, and then make my way through the Fighters Guild after getting Daw/Duskfang from SI. Next. I'll finish SI and do KOTN, to get rid of my infamy! All the while I'm gonna be doing quests and saving up, levelling, and all that good stuff. Hopefully, I'll be level 35+ at this point (Max character level is 49) and maybe have enough gold for Rosethorn Hall. Then I'll restart as a Nord Warrior / Battlemage, cause I've never made one before  Crazy, I know!

Game plan right there 8)

---------------------------------------------

Later I did 2 hours of exploring, got to guardian rank in the arena and levelled to level 4! EPIC!

So far I: Got bored of my merchant character as I ended up just stealing everything and using cheats anyway due to how slow RPing is - Used god mode cheats on my high elf battlemage and was going from one end of cyrodil to the other in 5 seconds killing everyone - Now im working on a new battlemage orc :P
