Ohh snap.. faveourite genre? That's almost too much of a dilemma for me.
I have several personal faveourite genres among them are: Progressive Rock, Stoner Rock, Doom Metal, Folk, Space Rock, Heavy Psych (here I am speaking of the kind of heavy psych that was around in the late 60's and early 70's), Hard Rock, Folk Rock, Kraut Rock and so on and so forth.

Punk, Metal, Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal,Metalcore, Rock, Hard Rock, Alternative Rock/metal, Nu Metal, Grunge, and a little bit of rap.

POST DUBSTEP FTW.

I usually like any genre I like. But usually it would happen to be:
Dubstep
Drum and Bass
Shoegaze
Metal (pretty much just Korn and Slipknot)
Darkwave Ambient or just Ambient

I used to like the music you listed, but I grew to like this sort of stuff. Trance and rave

I also enjoy western hip-hop.
Quite a bit.
Oh, and I like my electro punk at times.

More complicated answer: Progressive, power, and gothic metal, mostly.

I used to listen mostly to rap, but nowadays I almost listen more to reggae. I don't really have any problem with some metal or rock or whatever.
As long as it isn't electronic it usually works. Oh, and pop sucks.

I try not to limit my tastes, and listen to a particularly disliked genre and make myself think "this is going to be bad." As it is, I consider myself quite eclectic about music.

My favorite genres are trance, eurodance, pop (not the bubblegum stuff, the more dancy kind), classical, and soundtracks. I particularly enjoy soundtracks, and most of my iTunes library is comprised of them. Mostly from games, but I have a few movie soundtracks as well. I love it when a composer can make a theme and entwine it around other musical motifs, transpose it, and so on.
