According to back of box on Amazon US the ps3 version now supports trophies. It also says "The Complete Oblivion Collection" but so did the GOTY so dont expect the DLC's but we can hope can't we ps3 users?

It comes out June 28th so everyone knows confirmation via G4tv.com

In regards to DLC the PS3 box back says "ADD-ON CONTENT. TROPHIES"

The only reason I'd buy it is if it came with new content for the PC. The steelbook looks nice though.

I have to agree about the steelbook but as I prefer console gaming I think i will pick up the PS3 one

I wonder if this will be sold online-only or will stores such as GameStop have it available too ? 200,000 copies seems to be plenty enough, though.

This will be good. I will be getting it. I have recently revived Oblivion. I really gave it a thrashing for a long time, only vanilla, when it first came out. But waiting for Skyrim has given me the push to fire it up again and try and test a few new ideas. Even though this was my fav game of all time and I had put hundreds of hours into it, I did it all with only one character.
Plus with the inclusion of trophies, it'll be more incentive.

Finally officially Announced on BethBlog, and yes Duraza it hints at international release, sadly in the comments they confirmed its the vanilla GOTY, no DLC that the ps3 never got , and they have also changed their minds, no trophies

Wow, what a pointless re-release. Without the PS3 trophies that means they made zero effort on the actual game. If they had at least added some bug fixes...

I don't think they put to much focus on this... it's just a deal really to anticipate Skyrim for people who haven't played Oblivion yet and are interested.

I'm looking at ebgames and it says the release date is July 12?! Maybe cause I'm in Canada or did they delay it??

What is the major difference between the 5th anniversary edition and the GOTY edition? Both have SI and KOTN included so...is this the only difference?

The 5th Anniversary Edition also includes:

* Collector's Steelbook: A beautiful collectable metal case masterfully embossed with Daedric symbols.
* Making of Oblivion: A behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of Oblivion.
* Oblivion Game Map: A full-color map of Cyrodiil and the Shivering Isles.
* Coupon: A coupon for $10.00 off Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Not applicable for Quebec.

However, I didn't realize the 10.00 off is a mail in rebate. I've never done a mail in rebate in my life and from what I hear people are too lazy to do it for small amounts. Is it worth the hassle?

Also, if I buy two copies and get two coupons, can I use two rebates and get 20.00 off Skyrim?

Yeah, they did delay it.

Where did you hear the 200,000 copies? Is this for the PC as well? 200,000 does not sound like a lot
