Sexuality

This thread is for stating your sexuality and the reason for it, nothing else. I don't want it to be locked so please; no discussions. I'd write a poll but since they're broken...

So. I'm bisexual. I've never actually been in a relationship with a male but I've been attracted to some. The reason for this is that I have a gay uncle who also happens to be my favourite uncle. We used to spend a lot of time together when I lived in Germany and he's still the relative I'm the closest with. So I grew up with homosexuality around me, accepted and found it in myself. If it weren't for him I'd probably be homophobic now (due to the enviroment I grew up in once we moved to greece) and an entirely different person.

Interesting thread...really.

Ok, i started my sexual life at 14 years old.The girl had 15 years old, and we kinda liked each other. I'm not saying that this was from all from love, it was more like love-curiosity for both of us. I have to admit i never was more scared than i was at that moment.

Keep the thread alive and clean boys and girls.

I appreciate the idea behind this thread and I hope it doesn't get ruined by people abusing it.

I'm a heterosexual male. It's odd to give a reasoning for something that is a majority state, but I like it a lot. I am heterosexual because I am very attracted to women and have never felt any attraction to a man. I believe that this is due to a complex (and probably near-impossible to define) set of interactions between my genetic makeup and the environment in which I was raised and have since lived.

Again, thanks for the interesting thread and the thoughts behind it :)

I thought so. That's pretty awesome if I do say so myself.
But alas, I'm a heterosexual male, yet some people might question that. Except, my best friend is homosexual. We don't have a relationship, just friends

Well I am of the bi-sexual male variety. Currently in a homosexual relationship.

It's odd being the only non-straight kid in a boys school. So many odd looks. So many awkward conversations.

It seems there are quite a few bisexuals here. I am one. It's a shame how my town is very... unappreciative. On a side note, is anyone participating in the Day if Silence?

I guess when it comes to this stuff I could swing either way. But more toward the heterosexual side. The reason is because I was really raised around my sister and mother, since my brother shunned me away and my dad worked a lot (he didn't work all the time, we still did stuff on weekends). So if I was at a mall and saw a pet shop, I'd have to walk in and look at the puppies. But still if I saw a masculine-like store (not sports stores... Hate those places.) I would walk on in.

Homosexual. A couple years ago I would have said Bisexual, and a couple years before that I probably would have said heterosexual.

Not that my sexuality ever changed, just denial and bad reactions from my father. Long story short I experimented with a girl when I was young and it wasn't taken well.

It made me feel like there was something wrong with me, and I was a bad person. I lived in that shadow for a long time.

You should read that thread Valus linked to and find Wolf's posts.
Normally, when attraction has 0% to do with gender, people call it pansexual.

I've just realised that our forum is fairly gay-

There are quite a few people here that are attracted to members of the same sex.
Posts contain silly amounts of colour.
And we all seem fairly happy.

It's probably because when I was about 13, I became really close to an old friend of mine. and I mean really close, but thats probably no the kinda thing to go into depth on a forum. Sorry to any Mods reading this.
