I was at level 6, and completed it as soon as I could, usually in games like these I don't start with the MQ so soon, but in Oblivion I did.

I've played 7 characters. 6 have completed the MQ, all at different levels.

I've completed it under level 15 but I tend to (now) leave the main quest until later. I just like to live my life out, killing bandits, maiming animals, poking people who react funny. So generally 20> nowadays.

I beat it a 21 but anyone can beat it at a low level if you turn down the difficulty so its depends on if you want a challenge

Well, I NEVER turn down the difficulty, never, but let's say I just ran through the caves and Obliviongates I had to face, and I also had a decent sword with shockdamage I got from a sigil stone.

Can the difficulty be lowered on Xbox? Can't say I ever noticed the option. o_O That would explain why my tough monster to loot ratio is against me.

I've read where a few people have played the game, and never leveled. Only raised skills, never slept.

But that's not fun, one of the main things in Oblivion is that the game changes after your level.
But hey, imagine if he's a master in blade or blunt and then go out and kills level 1 enemies :P

I've got 2 character's level 26+ and they haven't even started the MQ, I like to leave it to last usually (in case something in the MQ makes something explode or otherwise become inaccessable)

Well Zavrith, you'll have a nice surprise when you shut down the Oblivion gatesa at that level!
