Hello for everyone,

I have one irritating thing, which I want to fix and I need your help.

First of all I want to say that now I am playing Morrowind with Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions, also I have installed 8 official plug-ins and Morrowind Patch Project (latest version v1.6.5 BETA) and when I install this lates Morrowind patch I hope that all bugs (including "my" irritating thing) will be fixed, but it didn't happened..

So, now I will try to explain everything.

I am Grandmaster of Great House Hlaalu, and as we all know there isn't higher rank in that faction, but..
I am also a Factor of East Empire Company, I have a Factor's estate, but when I open my Morrowind character's menu, and with my mouse, wheel to General information of the player, and stop my pointer on the Faction category: East Empire Company I see: "East Empire Company status - Factor"; "Next Rank: Factor (Personality 35, Willpower 35)"; "Favorite Skills: Speecheraft, Mercantile, Security, Long Blade, Medium Armor; Need One skill at 90, and two skills at 35"...
But when I stop my mouse pointer to Great House Hlaalu I see: "Great House Hlaalu status - Grandmaster", and that's it, no other options, just "Grandmaster" and I think this is correct, when you reach highest rank in the faction but with my East Empire Company it isn't.

I think that is a mistake/bug, and I want to fix it.

I hope you understand everything about "my irritating" thing

I also hope, that fixing this is simple and I can do it, for example, with TES3 Construction Set, but I need YOUR help and knowledge about this and I should have to do.

I was looking about this on the internet about this, and what I have found:
One guy named Mithrim created a factor_fix.zip and it is working, this fix can be found in the planetelderscrolls.com. (This forum don't allow to past links from other websites, so I cannot show my findings)

But there is a problem, I can't download it.. I haven't access to download it.

I need help again, any volunteers?

on the internet I found the unofficial bug/fix by author mithrim (use google "factor_fix.zip"). You should find a link to elder scrolls planet .com. There you will be offered to download that fix from fileplanet.

After download, unzip the file, read "read me" file, where everything is explained, then you simply drag that plugin to your morrowind/data files directory. And in the launch screen you have to mark this plugin.

By the way, when you will start morrowind with this plugin you will receive an error message, but click yes, it won't crash the game. And this will happened every time, when you start to play. My suggestion: first time I start morrowind with this error, did everything what was mentioned in fix "read me" file, and that problem was solved - I have highest rank in East Empire Company - Factor.

The second time, before starting MW in lauch screen I remove the tick from factor_fix.esp, and..Everything worked great: no errors when loading, and fixed "Factor's title" problem. Perfect

Do you understand everything?

P.S. I am playing Morrowind G.O.T.Y with 8 official plugins, bloodmoon patch v1.6.1820 and morrowind patch v1.6.5 BETA

Obviously solved, and locked.
