October 11, 2012.
71 days remain before Abstergo Industries launches their satellite where they shall gain total control over the minds of mankind. Earth itself shall be doomed, and life itself may cease to exist.
Their plan must be stopped.
The Assassin Order still holds a presence in this world. It is they who must stop the Templar organization and save humanity from utter destruction. But the journey will not be so easy…
You are one of the last Assassins. You must bring down the Templars and rescue life on Earth. This is your duty. And if you fail…all hope is lost.
Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.
About Assassin’s Creed: En Masse
AC: En Masse will probably be the best, most fun roleplay I’ve ever created. It will be organized, action-packed, and intense. And the storyline completely depends on your actions.
As this is based in modern times, you will be visiting some real places (cities, famous landmarks, etc…). Some locations will be fictitious, but the majority will be real.
During the course of the storyline, I’ll provide different maps to illustrate the locations you will be visiting (I’ll just be using the regular old Paint program, so don’t expect anything too fancy). It will help with the story and give you a decent understanding of the environment surrounding your characters.
Everything depends on your actions. Yes, you can be killed. And you can also cause the deaths of your Assassin comrades. You choose how to carry out a mission. Your Assassin superiors may give you guidelines and vague instructions, but you do not have to follow these guidelines and are free to do whatever you wish. Sometimes, you may be tempted to have fun and celebrate instead of carrying out a mission. This could lead to some serious trouble. But on the other hand, you may find extremely valuable information that will prove useful to the Assassins’ cause.
All in all, watch your actions, and stay vigilant.
Missions
Missions are given out by your Assassin superiors. Usually, you will be advised to use stealth or deception to carry out these missions successfully (of course, you don’t always have to follow the rules). But this is not always the case. There will be certain missions where you will be asked to rescue a specific ally or publicly assassinate an important figure in society. It all depends on the individual target and his/her location.
You’ll usually be paired with other Assassins to accomplish your duties. But how you complete these missions is completely up to you.
Skills
As an Assassin, you are inevitably a master of free running. Also, you are each in possession of a hidden blade. You may wear or remove it at will. But each Assassin is equipped with different individual skills.
Skills will affect your styles of assassination and combat. You will be permitted to choose 2 of them. These are the skills of which you may choose from.
Martial Arts
Rather self-explanatory. As a master of martial arts, you are practically a lethal weapon. You have selective skills from the arts of karate, taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, judo, and kickboxing. Your excellence in both melee and hand-to-hand combat is nearly unmatched by the majority of opponents. And as a bonus, you have much greater reactions to your surroundings.
Leap of Faith
Very few Assassins of the modern age are capable of performing a leap of faith. It is both an impressive and courageous act of skill. It was once the symbolic tradition of the Assassin Order itself. The ability to perform a leap of faith can be extremely useful and can allow you to cheat death more than once. There are very few Templars of this era who are able to summon the courage to leap off of a building and onto a safe landing mark, which makes the leap of afaith an excellent method of escape.
Accuracy
With the days of swords, shields, bows, and arrows having ended centuries ago, the use of firearms has become a necessity to survival. While all Assassins are well-capable of wielding firearms, masters of accuracy have an unnatural skill with the use of guns. Their precision is ten times greater than those who are not trained in the ways of accuracy, and they can reload with outstanding speed.
Agility
Agility is an incredibly useful tool for any Assassin of modern times. Masters of agility are more capable of dodging enemy attacks. This includes evading bullets. While they are not indestructible and are still susceptible to harm, they have a better chance of surviving an intensified battle than most others. Masters of agility are also noticeably faster than others.
Hidden Blade Combat
The hidden blade has become more of a symbolic object for the Assassins than a weapon. It can be used during a fist fight to gain a slight advantage over the opponent, but most enemies are not vulnerable to such attacks, as guns are far more prominent than melee weapons. However, one who is trained in hidden blade combat has the speed and skills necessary to make the hidden blade even more deadly than some guns. They are able to use their hidden blades against enemies who wield pistols or other small firearms.
Character Sheet
As mentioned above, you are an Assassin. You will start the roleplay in the Assassin hideout of Boston, Massachusetts. The hideout is much like the hideout seen in AC II. It is a warehouse filled with equipment and technology used to communicate with the other Assassins of which are spread across the globe. It also contains different sleeping quarters for each of the Assassins.

Personality (This is optional. If you would like to allow your character’s personality to develop during the course of the roleplay, I completely understand.):
Rules
1. I’m the boss. U falloe mah rulez!
2. This RP isn’t first come first serve. I have to accept your character before you can begin roleplaying.
3. Use good grammar, mates. It’s not hard (unless English is not your mother language, in which case I completely understand.).
4. No god-modding. I understand that the “skills” in this roleplay grant your character very unique abilities, but that doesn’t make your character indestructible. If your character tries doing something stupid, he/she will get pwned. End of story.
5. In order to join this roleplay, you have to agree that monkeys are simply incredible. Put this in your first post if you read this.
6. Be realistic.
7. No creating enemies or new targets. I’ll do that for ya.
8. You are allowed to do ANYTHING you want in this roleplay. Just remember that there will be consequences for your actions. I’ll provide maps so that you know what your environment looks like.
9. Have fun.
Yes, I know the rules list is kinda long. But I REALLY want this to be successful, and I promise you’ll have a blast. This will be more intense than The Matrix, The Godfather (Part I and II), The Incredible Hulk, and all other awesome movies combined.
