This is amazing. It will be especially good for people who haven't read the magazine.

So far, I am not disappointed with anything thats changed in Skyrim. Everything sounds amazing!

IMPORTANT:

"If you're really good at a particular skill, like one-handed weapons or destruction spells"

That's how they're splitting it up. We know, now.

And any confirmation of this is... ?

Wow, i can't find anything in that whole article to complain about! Truly a feat in itself.
I wasn't really curious about mounts, until i read that they're not talking about it. Now i wanna know! As for the rest of the article, i think it's a good sign that they're developing a lot of in-house stuff, as it should all coalesce smoothly toward a better end result.

It's in the article, so unless they were lying, or making something up, that's it.

Or generalizing.

i think we can extrapolate from the article that mammoths will be mounts. It is mentioned that one of the random quests would involve saving a mammoth from a wolf attack. Seems to me that the most logical reward for saving a mammoth would be gaining it as a mount.

I think the animation for climbing onto a Mammoth would be too long and it never says "save". In FO3 a random event would be Raiders fighting a Super Mutant, just something interesting to watch, not to take part in. So no. Also I think mammoths are hostile, as thats what it says on the wiki page.

Reading the Radiant AI section sounds exactly like what they promised for Oblivion...

All that included. there better be a very thorough character customisation system with extensive choices.

other than that. I can only be eager about whats to come in November.

Do you think they'll create a whole new scripting language? I hope not, but Im positive theres gonna be a whole new modding system that will be alien to experienced Oblivion modders. Sort of like the transition from Morrowind to Oblivion :?

I agree. Mammoths are supposed to be hostile creatures. As awesome as it'd be to ride one, I doubt we will.

I just hope it takes a while to kill it and the mammoth doesn't act like an enemy in Oblivion. You know what I'm talking about.

Magazine said there was going to be the ability to customize your characters body. You can assume that the face and other features will be better too.

People being attacked by bandits/monsters. Me having to save them. I think I read in the Magazine that sometimes they might tell you the location of a treasure or something like that.

If you look at this line in context, you'll see that it's referring to characters reacting to your proficiency in that skill. It's kind of like how in Oblivion, people would say "You've got a real bounce to your step, I bet you're quite the acrobat" or "you have the eyes of a trained marksman" when you have above 70 Acrobatics or Marksman, respectively. Except, more advanced. Instead of just commenting, they might ask you to train them, or do a demonstration.

Yeah, and something else i forgot to mention. The ability to change the colour of weapons and armour (much the same way as done in the Fables). Silver and black, or gold and black daedric armour and sword. Just visualise that for a moment...yeah 8)
