As you may have seen, Generalno1 and Dean (previously known as Newsound), have been promoted to greenies instead of Tea Party Mods. This is just to let you all know.

TPM's aren't gone. It's just that our former TPM's have demonstrated that they have the maturity to handle things on their own without contacting us greenies to do things for them (which causes delays). So we all agreed to award them the power to do just that. They'll still be mainly moderating in the General forums but can now take instant action, so behave yourselves, OK?

Thanks ladies and gentleman. Always nice to have some support when there's a big change, it makes one feel welcome. I appreciate it, as does General to.

As for whether or not there shall be new Pinkies, we are not 100% sure what's going on with that yet.

If I might just say, I'd object against new pinkies. We don't really need more moderators for our current community size.

Nuno has a point. I don't leave the General section often, but I know that we don't get much spamming or trolls anyway, so there isn't much need for more banhammers, and you can stop people posting in a thread eligible for locking just by telling them not to post until a greenie turns up. It doesn't have a huge impact no matter what though.

Okay, okay this isn't really a thread to be discussing all that business. We will know what to do when the time comes.

And for those of you who fear over moderation, just remember, Bethesda has been doing something since Fallout 3's release. After two years, you've got to bet they'll be showing it off eventually.

@Hunter22 and ALL: The banhammer IS for special occasions. Banning is a last resort, only done when all attempts to reason with a problem member have failed, and then reluctantly but with a sense of duty to protect the beloved members of our "family". Unless of course it's a spambot, spammer, troll, or severe rule infraction, in which case it's WHAMM! No mercy! Nobody likes a pushy salesmen, nasty-minded bully or blatant rule ignorer crashing the party, so we act as bouncers and toss 'em out - on a flat horizontal trajectory!
