You need to tell us how to submit our entries and give us a deadline.

Yea, I'm still getting things together.
The deadline will be the 21st. The 22nd, the entries will be judged, and we'll announce the results on the 23rd. I'll create threads soon for the various comps, and entries will be submitted in there.

I would definitely recommend a thread for interview questions and a discussion thread, like before. That'll make things a lot less cluttered.

I don't like coke. Will there be cake?

Let's see how I can get some - Signature, perhaps. Writing, perhaps. Screenshot? Maybe. We'll see. Whatever the weather, this should be a lot of fun.

Well, I've got my entry to the mod sig contest done, and I'm still going to give the avatar and signature contests a spin. Not sure about screenshots, because I'd have to start a character anew, and I'm nowhere near as good at taking screenshots as some people are. Not to mention I'm on the PS3.

Also, I'm still using CS2. It's the best.

I'm definitely doing screenshots.
They are my main reason for playing Oblivion right now
Might try an avatar. See how I go.

I'm wondering...
For the avatar and both signature contests, will we be allowed to use the [img] tag? It'd give a far better preview of how it'd look on the forums than just linking to the picture.

I suppose for the Avatar and Sig contests, it would'nt cause too much Lag. So yea, i guess you could

It is currently Sat Nov 06, 2010 12:32 pm

Is it not a bit early to start putting up the contest topics, i.e. posting contest entries...???

Naaaa, gives people time to get ready and get some inspiration from others.

I believe I read where they say, "one entry per", and if they post to soon, then see someone elses, then change their mind..., what is the policy on this? It is a possibility, and does happen, so best bet, to avoid these issues, would be to lock the topics, until the 21st, which gives 24hrs to post entries.

Oh, how nice, my first UESP anniversary. :)

Have fun guys. I would contribute, but I've already pledged my November to National Novel Writing Month, so I'll just contribute my very enthusiastic "Huzzah!" toward the celebration. I can't wait to see all of your creations though!

@Jeff: You do bring up a good point.... I'll have to talk about this with the others, I never know what is going through there heads.

The only problem I could see with that is 24hrs is kind of short, a few days would suffice I think.

I think here is the best place to ask this.
For the Screenshot Comp can entries be edited (GIMP/Photoshop/Paint) to have text or just to make them more artistic?
If yes, thanks, if no, back to the drawing board :P

Yes, they can be edited. And Jeff, i dunno,it makes sense i guess, and givining 24 hours for submition would work.
And a little heads up guys, don't talk about entries in the thread, they are for submitions only. If you want to talk, talk here

I wish I could participate but I lack Photoshop skills, and I don't have a scanner to take a snapshot of a pen and paper drawing. I can only make things on Paint and most of the time things can get.... Ugly.

*Sigh* Good luck, everyone.

You could still make a signature - or write something.

I have some questions about the art competition. Are there any size restrictions? And does it have to follow a theme, for example TES, or is it up to the artist?

The only size restrictions are on the avatar and sig contests. The art competition does'nt have a theme restriction either.

My
ind's blank for writing a full story, so I might do a poem instead. I doubt I'll participate in the other conpetitions, but you never know.
