This is a Pokémon RP. You know the drill. I will introduce the RP's story as it goes along.
Name: Age: Gender: Current Location: (somewhere in Kanto or Johto) Physical Appearance: Short History: (emphasis on short. You should have about three sentences here.) Team: (You can have three Pokémon. Nicknames are optional, as is describing them in your opening post. You will have to list the moves each Pokémon has here as well as the Pokémon themselves. If it can't learn a move in either generation 3 or 4 that you listed, or if you listed a generation 5 move, I will ask you to change its moveset. I would also highly advise a Pokémon with Fly.)
Spoiler:
Name: Ivan Age: 17 Gender: Male Current Location: Azalea Town Physical Appearance: He is usually seen wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt over a plain black T-shirt and beige cargo pants. He carries his trainer's equipment (potions, empty Poké Balls, etc.) in a blue backpack. Short History: He used to live in Hoenn, where he had collected three badges from Roxanne, Winona, and Norman. However, his dad's unstable job caused his family to move to Johto. Since then, he has mostly settled down, but not until after he got the Hive Badge from Bugsy. Team: Swampert (Surf, Ice Beam, Earthquake, Strength) Breloom (Seed Bomb, Brick Break, ThunderPunch, Cut) Xatu (Psychic, Fly, Air Cutter, Silver Wind)
Rules:
1. If you break these rules, your soul is forfeit.
2. Standard RP rules (no godmodding, no uber characters, etc.) apply.
3. This RP will use standard RP combat, not the D20-base system I proposed on the discussion thread.
4. The base stat totals for your Pokémon cannot exceed 1500 when added together. I will check this.
5. If you read the rules, then color your Pokémon names according to what their types are in the games.

Everything is fine, although you can use moves that the Pokémon only gets with move tutors and TMs as well.

I know, these are just the moves my pokemon have in the game, except I have a Sceptile, not a Grovlye. (PS: Giga Drain is a TM move)

If you can name one episode with this, then I'll allow it.
Also, I need to clarify something: your character got his Sceptile as a Treecko from Prof. Birch, right?

Name:Buzz
Age: 16.
Gender: Male.
Current Location: Pewter City
Physical Appearance: Light skin, long black hair, light eyebrows.
Clothes: green trench coat, blue pants, and red shirt.(too clashing, even for Pokemon?)
Short History: Born in Cerulean city, he was an ambitious boy, even when he was relatively young, which was when he caught his ditto, Since then, he has travelled quite a ways, all over Kanto, he's explored and caught his other pokemon, he got some prestige as an exceptional trainer, beating several tournaments, as well as several gym badges. eventually, he decided to rest, and stays at pewter City, wondering what to do next.
Team: Ditto :Transform
Salamence:Hyper beam, Dragon Claw, Crunch, Dragon breath
Alakazam:Psychic, Future sight, Zen headbutt,Psy beam
Argonanza wrote:And yes, I got Drebin from Professor Birch.
Then it can't have Crunch. Crunch is only available to Sceptile as an egg move, which would mean Drebin had Crunch when your character got it from Birch. However, Snorlax can get the move through leveling up, and Sceptile can learn Hyper Beam with the TM. Personally, I would switch the two moves.

Oh, right. Fonzie knows Focus Punch now, and Drebin is all hyped up and ready to obliterate.
You know what? I'll just go ahead and catch something that knows fly later.

This is starting now. Please use blue text or spoiler tags for OOC stuff.
I took a deep breath of the fresh forest air. My Xatu was right by my side, ready to defend me from any wild Pokémon that tried attacking me. My mom had sent me into Ilex Forest to find mushrooms that didn't fight back that we could have with our dinner, and I had found six so far.
Thinking about what I was supposed to do was quickly interrupted by a giant mushroom that rushed out of a nearby bush. Before I could think about what to do, Xatu defeated the Parasect with a quick slash of its wings. I looked carefully at the ground and saw that the retreating Parasect had dropped something -- another TinyMushroom. I picked it up and put it into my bag. My mom should be able to make her famous mushroom casserole with four small and three large mushrooms, and so I left the forest.

Spoiler:
Let's hope Argonanza and General remember this thread. Also I hope you don't mind me posting in 3rd person.
Max sat beside the Pond at the center of Celadon City, all three of his Pokemon sitting beside him. Grovyle and Armaldo chomped on snacks and Metagross (who doesn't eat) followed ants around on the ground. Passers-by ogled at his unusual collection of Pokemon and another Pokemon trainer asked about how he acquired his Pokemon. When his Pokemon had rested he would go to Challenge the Celadon City Gym. But until then, he sat watching the world go by.
Spoiler:
If our Characters are in different regions then how are we going to get together?

Buzz was in fields in the shadow of mt moon again. It was where he would come to relax and train. Today, he was doing the latter, His salamence and Alakazam were training against each other, When he told them to stop for the day. "Good job today guys, let's rest for a while", they sat in the shade, Salamence and Alakazam were eating while ditto was trying to make Buzz cheery, like he always tried to do, Buzz decided to reward his efforts today with a smile.
Spoiler:
Sorry if it's a bit random. I'm pretty tired, how are we going to meet up?

Corey did a cheerful dance when Corleone sent the other trainer's Snubbull flying with a well-placed poison jab, winning the match.
A small crowd of people had gathered to watch the spontaneous pokémon battle that had occured on the Goldenrod Market Place.
When Corey finished doing the robot he shook hands with the other trainer. "Thanks for a good match", he said. "Your Sceptile really put up a good fight", said the other trainer. "I've not had such an intense battle in years." "Well, your Taurus was not so bad either", said Corey with a smile. As the two trainers had a friendly chat Corleone placed himself on Corey's head, craving for attention. "Yes, you were great to, Corleone", Corey said with a big grin. Corleone proceeded to lick him in the face.
Later, as he walked to the Pokémon Center, Corey picked up his badge box. There were three Johto-badges in there. Corey had beaten Whitney, the gym leader of Goldenrod Town, two weeks ago. Soon he would head for Ecruteak City for his next badge. He was gonna get 'em all.
Spoiler:
Yeah, how we gonna meet up?

I knew I should have required this.
Anyway, I have no idea whether I'm going to call some plot event in Goldenrod and have me and General fly there while Argonanza uses the train from Saffron to Goldenrod, or if I'm going to have Argonanza and Spiney catch flying-type Pokémon.
I'm leaning toward the former.

It shouldn't be too hard for me to catch a flying Pokemon. A Pigeoto or Pigoet should work.

You would have to go to Route 45 for that, which is nowhere near Goldenrod.
