On my way to Boreal Caves I come across a imperial legion forester firing his bow... and I go to look to see what he's shooting and he's firing at another forester >_>

in pretty much the middle of no where with no horses in sight... thats something I've never seen before >_>

Nothing new. A lot of people encounter those two.

I've seen it before. Usually happens when one forester is hunting a deer or bear or whatever and his arrow "accidentally" hits the other forester. So then they go all out till one is dead, usually leaving a lot of arrows sticking from the ground.

Yea i've seen it pretty often by now...
I remember when i saw it the first time, i pretty sure i also made a topic about it

Anyway, its a good way to get the guards armor!

It is a crime* to hunt deer!




*For foresters that is..

haha i've seen this before, its one of rather funny sights of cryodil
who ever wins, loses eventually anyway

I often go looking for them at level one, great way to get a very easy fine steel bow and some silver arrows, it's a challenge to pick up every single one they miss with.

Not too shabby armor for level 1, a little heavy though.

On one game the other guy went to get his arrows off the corpse so i used sneak and smacked him one and he died to, but that cost me like 1k gold :/.

It mentions the area near applewatch which is where i usually go if i want the stuff.

I'll be damned, for the past 1000+ hours I logged into this game, it's the first time I seen it >_>

but then again I don't travel around on foot much, abusing fast travel a lot XD

Haha, I nearly always see the legion foresters fighting whenever I happen to run into them.

I honestly think I'm the only one who never came across this. I feel so left out

If for some reason people want to see this, look East of the underside of the Bruma walls. It happens whenever two Foresters attack the same deer. In this situation, they turn to attack each other.

I once killed one of them during their skirmish and incurred no bounty...but that happens sometimes. Perhaps someone wants to test this?

The last five times I've seen them they were just out hunting deer together.

Perhaps the combat mod I have that reduces target area and increases arrow speed had a positive effect on them.

Generally just chilling.
Although it's quite amusing watching them go on a deer chase, it's quite amazing how far they will chase a deer.


I dont think they attack each other if they use the same armor (see my link) otherwise they'll consider each other an enemy.
It's good fun to watch a fight, i'd reccomend taking a look just for the lawlz (there's like a bandit and some wolves and things in the area to)
