It seems that I'm either missing out or I'm hearing propaganda speech, so I'm curious and want to try it. Which tea should I try first?

Arizona Iced Tea. It's delicious, and it's 99 cents for a giant can at your local gas station.

inb4 Earl Grey

Irish Breakfast Tea.
Depending on mood, with or without milk.

Always start on either English breakfast tea or Iced tea. The other stuff is a bit more... extreme, and there's no way you'll like it if you don't like the first two.

Chai tea is by far the best at night.

Pg tips for the rest of the day.

I'd specifically recommend this or this.

Depends what you like, start with your pg tips and bit of milk and build up and try your earl grey with tiny bit of sugar no milk.
And dog was that referencing me?

Oh try to not have anymore than one sugar in tea, it spoils it.

If you want to get into some of those funky herbal teas, Earl Grey and Camonmile are probably the most "mainstream". You can get some seriously nice ones though.

Also, Tetley's and PG Tips for Breakfast tea. Twinings for herbal stuff.

Lies, 2-3 is the best for your average cuppa. Not so weak you can't taste it yet not overpowering

Who has sugar in their tea? You're should all be ashamed of your weirdness.

Don't put sugar in your tea. Always use more than one teabag in a teapot. Start with Tetley's and work your way up to PG Tips. Don't have green tea. Always use very little milk.

Sugar in tea is a sin. Lemonade iced tea is a sin. Milk in tea is a sin.

My personal favorite brand of iced tea is Tea's Tea/Ito-en. For home brewed, I like lapsang souchong, Russian caravan, Irish breakfast tea, chamomile, and Juniper Ridge's Douglas Fir-Tip Tea.

EDIT: Oh, and before anyone else say it, "Tea. Earl Grey. Hot."

It's not a sin, it's an Arnold Palmer, and it's delicious.

At the risk guarantee of sounding cliche, if Arnold Palmers are wrong, I don't wanna be right.

In that case, do you mind putting WRONG in huge letter in your status? jk

Not at all, not for the sake of that (evidently sinfully) delicious combination of Iced Tea and Lemonade.

Agreed, unless it's chai. I can't not put milk and the tiniest of sugars in chai.

Sugar in tea is horrible, never try it. But a cup of hot Earl Grey and a small bit of honey? Now that's heaven. :)

"Chai"? Seriously? Is it a brand or type of Tea?

No, chai as in the type of tea, as in spiced teas.

It's also "tea" in Hindi

I know. :D I think that's because most spiced teas originate from India.

It's also the word for tea in Turkish (çay). Except Turkish tea isn't really all that good, it's just addicting and the tea glasses and little spoons are cute.
