These pages are dedicated to you sharing with the forum that special book/article/magazine/forum you've been reading. If you so decide to post, please give the name of the thing you reading as well as a quick overview of the book. If you wish, you may also give a rating on the book as you see fit.

At the moment I am reading Halo: The Fall of Reach. This novel gives more detail about the SPARTAN II program as well as how the great UNSC stronghold planet of Reach fell to the Covenant juggernaut. I recommend this, and other books in the series to any serious Halo fanatic wanting to know more about the series. Other books in the series include as follows: Halo: Contact Harvest, Halo: The Cole Protocol, Halo: First Strike, Halo: The Flood and many others.

AS much as I admire Tolkien for his awesome works, I have never been able to read all of the Lord of the Rings books all the way through. I think he put WAY too much into them personally. But from what I've read, it was only a fraction of what he actual had in his head. i propose Tolkien was a Tesla of the writing industry.

I'm reading Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf in order to write an essay on it next week. In fact, I have to read prescribed books pretty much until the end of the year. Luckily this year they didn't give really terrible books.

Tolkien is the essence of awesomeness :D They give us extracts from his books as dictation at English classes. I savour every word :D As for what I'm reading, I am kinda revising for two Literature exams, so now I'm reading clever stuff like Shakespeare and Dostoevsky and Spanish epic poetry. When I'm done, I think I'm gonna read Bradbury. I always read Bradbury after long periods of stress and pressure.
@ Leilah: I think I'll be given a task to read it too, in a year or so.

The Right Stuff by Tom Wolfe. It's about why pilots and astronauts are willing to fly despite a good chance they'll never come back, and it is epic.

A Short History Of Nearly Everything, by Bill Bryson.
Less funny than his other books I've read, but interesting.

Right now I'm reading The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three by Stephen King. 2nd time reading it. Great book, but I'm at the most boring part of the series right now;
Spoiler:
The part where King spends 20 pages describing Odetta Holmes to the reader, and eventually it switches back to Roland and Eddie's perspective but they argue irrefutably for another 5 pages. I just hate that part of the book,
But aside from that the book is extremely good though. :D The ending isn't as good as The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger, but it's still pretty kickass.

Utopia :D (now, that's not my estimation of the possibility of ace's finding the fourth Hitchhiker, that's what I'm reading)

Just started reading ICEHENGE by Kim Stanley Robinson. My dad recommend it to me. And I'm enjoying it so far.

Shakespeare!!! My assignment is: one comedy, one historical chronicle, two tragedies, and one of those dramatic plays with a happy end that he wrote in his last creative years. (in Russian we call them tragicomedies, but I'm not sure about the English term).

So, which ones did you choose? I did a lot of Shakespeare last year, I've kind of fallen in love with it.

I really chose the ones I have as real, solid, tangible books. I'm not a fan of reading books online. It's quite the usual stuff, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, The Tempest, Othello, Twelfth Night, and Richard III.

I have read all of those. Here is my breakdown of them in order of appearance. THIS DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS. not so much the ends of the books but just a brief overview
Spoiler:
Fall of Reach: very beginning of the Halo events. Very good if you need backround info= 9
The Flood: Follows the events in Halo CE somewhat closely. Also Great= 8.5
First Strike: The remaining human resistance after the Halo events take place. So-so=6.5
Contact Harvest: Follows Sergeant Johnson before the Covenant are known yet, fighting insurrectionists. The earliest time period of all the books. Very good read=8.5
Cole Protocol: The weakest of all the books by far. More talk and less action. Follows Captain Keyes before halo events. Got bored halfway in= 4
Ghost of Onyx: Not really sure where this one goes, but it focuses on the Spartans protecting Forerunner history. Good read=7
This is in my opinion ^

Currently i am reading the Stand by Stephen King, so far i have loved it
Yeah, Cole Protocol was kinda weak. I agree with your score. I didn't like how they talked about a completely group of SPARTANS. It was the same way with Onyx, but I liked it none the less.

On the end of the first book, "A Game of Thrones".

I'm done, done, done, done with my Shakespeare assignment! (not that I hated it, but cramming so many clever books in such a short time can be harmful for one's brain). And now I behold Russian classics, beckoning me from my bookshelf... A student's work is never done. But it's interesting work, at least.

Neither of those oddly enough and they bearly talk about the only main reasons he's in the book really is...
Spoiler:
He's on of the three main villains
also along that note the book is oddly written

Merlin is not a villain. That was Morgana La Faye.
