Tell me all. What benefits does listing people in these categories have? And are they notified when I add/remove them?

A foe's posts are removed or put in a spoiler. where as a friends posts are marked in green
i think they also tell you when one is online, but I'm not sure

And what about being notified? I know you are notified when someone adds you as a friend on social sites.

it doesn't tell them, a lot of forum I've been to that had, it never told them.

it just make reading post weird, if you have someone on the Foes list, cause you will not see them.

Well, on almost every forum I've ever been to there has been at least one person who annoyed me increasingly at a very fast rate. I always wind up adding them to my foes list in the end, only reading their posts if their directly replied to and not quoted.

QFT.

I also enjoy the see-if-they're-online feature the friends list has, since I have a quite a few.

Actually I use it for a friends list, I PM a lot of people so I find it much easier to find there name there instead of spending ages searching it up.

Not used the foe list thing...besides wouldn't be me if I didn't argue a lot :P

I've only put people on my friends list. But never on my Foes list (Not even Nixon  ).

But...but why didn't anybody tell me? I don't suppose I'd use it that much but the fact that it's been there and I hadn't a clue about it...wow.
