I've gotten this far with installing a mod. I've extracted it, saved it, but I can't figure out where the oblivion data files are and how to get into them. It's probably simple, but I have no idea where to open it up so I can paste the mod into it. Please Help?

what version of Oblivion do you have, Disc or Steam?

I'll have to get on my other computer which has the Steam version installed. I forget some of the steps to get to your Oblivion data file. But once you do it once it's pretty easy.

In Windovs Operation sistem, right click Oblivion Dekstop icon and selectt propertis /Open File Location.
On Vista and W7 OS, right click Oblivion Dekstop icon and select Open File Location.

On normal disk install it is located at C:/Program files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/Data

Don't know about steam but my guess is either C:/Program Files/Steam/Oblivion/Data or C:/Users/[your account name]/My Documents/My Games/Steam/Oblivion/Data. Those two were just guesses.
