Ashlander Names ~ Deadric/Ashlander Names

I noticed something in Art Class today.

We were going over Art in ancient history and we were going over the famous Mesopotamic Empires, and we got into Assyria.
Names like Ashurnasirpal and Ashur-uballit sounds similar to Ashurnibibi or Assurnabitashpi or other names found (or generated) here.

Opinion on this matter?

I do remember reading somewhere on the Morrowind wiki that the Ashlander language was in fact pretty much copied and editted from the Assyrian language.

I think I may have even read that the developers even said that they cribbed names directly from the Mesopotamians.

Another connection is with Ur, the Mesopotamian city whose name translates as 'Light' obviously makes two appearances in ES lore, as Dagoth Ur and Ur Tower.

I noticed it awhile ago during a science program. I was like, "Hey, were you with the Zainab by any chance dude?"

In the Morrowind Prophesies guide, the author asks if Daedra in tombs should be called Deadra

Lol, I think.

I noticed this a while ago when I represented Syria at an MUN conference. I was considering inserting names from ES games into my speeches, but I thought that if somebody actually noticed it might have been a bit embarassing.
